Kim Ki-nam, one of North Korea's longest-serving officials who has worked for all three leaders of the reclusive state, has died aged 94. As head of the propaganda unit, he played a key role in cementing the political legitimacy of the Kim dynasty. Current leader Kim Jong-un paid tribute to the late official describing him as a "veteran revolutionary" who remained loyal to the country until the end.

Many countries have propaganda departments but are known by different names. The UK had the Ministry of Information. The US had a Committee on Public Information. Italy had the Ministry of Popular Culture.

one of the example is the claim that kim jong il that was born in sacred mountain of mount baekdu in 1942 (according to soviet, kim jong il born in 1941 in vyatkoye) and when he died, there is huge thunder and a huge words appeared in mount baekdu. this is just one example of propaganda that kim ki nam made.
