North Missippi Allstars take blues to a whole new level...Chris Chew & Cody hold down the rythm section & improvise almost as much as Luther on slide. I"m a bkues fan & slide player too & had heard them but never live until I moved south from Dayton, Oh to middle Tennessee & got to see them live in 2004 @ Bonnaroo in Manchester,Tn . I was blown away & now believe they r the best thing live Ive EVER experienced. Thanx for keepin the blues alive & well if it wasnt for yall,Anders Osbourne,zDerrick Trucks & the last man standing Buddy Guy Id have given up on music LIVE music & the jam altogether in this age of nobody wants to tour w out a corporate sponsor,retarded ticket prices & a 150,000 seat sold out stadium where I might not even be in the same area code as the band on stage if I dont pay 800 $ for my ticket. Thanx for not sellin out & keepin the jam alive!

@@bosshoggjdkk5211 Luther and Cody’s dad Jim produced some of Ry Cooder’s music. These guys know him well.
