Proud of that second half performance by Parra. 8 points down, I admit I wrote them off. They looked done. But Lane with the Man of the Match performance, RCG with the double, Mahoney with the 55 tackles. They were resilient in their defence in that last 20 and it won them the game. 80 minutes left to bring home the trophy. It’s been a long time. I hope they make the most of it.

Parramatta should of lost that game. Cowboys were all over them but from sheer grit and determination they won. Very impressive victory.

Reed Mahoney is the most underrated player in the game right now. His work defending plus The split second of doubt he puts the opposition defence in at times adds a whole dimension to the eels attack. The Gillard try was all reed

Cowboys didn’t deserve to be there in the first place, they alongside the Sharks have had a very similar run, they had a “soft” draw, they beat Parra earlier in the year in Darwin when they had players out, Parra players weren’t use to those humid tropical conditions, beat Melbourne at a time when they had a dozen injuries, given a free victory against a schoolboys reserve grade Penrith team, got pumped twice by the Roosters & lost to the Rabbitohs & Sharks too in the regular rounds. And don’t forget they also lost to the Bulldogs & Warriors too as well as given a cheap victory against the Tigers. Then they fluke a victory against the Sharks in the QF while also having 30 points scored against them. So don’t talk about them getting “robbed” in this game, they shouldn’t have been in this position to be robbed, you reap what you sow. They overachieved big time this year.

Im a Knights supporter and i grew up playing league. Credit to eels for holding the line to victory. Although forward pass is a forward pass. We got 3, 4 refs on the field and a ww2 bunker and yet we just gonna brush that under the carpet and keep on singing kumbaya and declared league one of the greatest game ever.. I lost interest in rugby league because of the double standard refering, unfair penalties and how obviously crooked this game as turn into. Games not the same anymore when sportsbet got involved heavily and mskes the last call now it seems. Its a joke its sick, its sad to see once such a great sports just got thrown into a pack of hungry wolfs to be torn and shredded. Shame, such a shame.

As a cowboys fan I'm proud and disappointed at the same time, proud we finished where did, I was expecting another tough year, disappointed that we played well enough to win this game comfortably I thought and we let it slip, a few soft trys to rcg, and a few bombed trys, the forward pass was a howler but you have 80 minutes of football score enough points to not leave it in the hands of the ref, and we had the advantage of a week off and playing at home in the heat, nevertheless a good year with abit of dissapointing end.

Only Paramata can beat Penrith. Its only right that they win
