55 - NSHR2 shoves onto the Norfolk Southern Buffalo Line in Northumberland off of the North Shore railroad, with NSHR SW1500 1946 and 4 empty (formerly grain) hoppers for Shamokin Carbons. They will head south to the SVRR interchange in Sunbury.
35 - Having just left NS rails at SF, NSHR2 starts eastward on the Shamokin Valley Railroad through Sunbury.
50 - The train continues along the old jointed rail at about 10 MPH, being flanked by Sawmill Road on the south, and the Shamokin Creek on the north.
35 - As the sun starts to climb high in the sky, wild daisies also give hint of summer time as NSHR2 eases down the line, crossing Camp Rd near Snydertown.
30 - NSHR2 at Paxinos.
25 - Even though the prime angle was shadowed in, Clark's mill makes a great backdrop at Sunnyside.
40 - After running around the train just north of town, they shove up 5th Street on the branch to Shamokin Carbons.
50 - An hour later, the train heads back through Shamokin with 4 loads of anthracite.
30 - Later that afternoon, the train heads north on the NS Buffalo Line crossing the Susquehanna River on the island between Sunbury and Northumberland.
