i have a random question, how high is your roommates bed? im moving into IV in a month and need to buy a bed skirt but don’t know how tall the beds are

hi, are you asking about the dimensions of the mattress or the height of the bed frame?

the mattress is a Twin XL but my roommate also had a large mattress topper on top of the regular mattress. not exactly sure how high the bed is elevated from the ground sorry!

Are you forced to keep the furniture or could you swap out the bed or dresser with your own furniture?

hey, so usually people used the dresser/bed provided and customized the room with other things like mattress toppers, bookshelves, and desk chairs. i believe you can bring your own furniture if you choose to however

hi! yes you are allowed to choose if you want a single or double. Within the housing application, there will be a spot for you to declare who you want in your rooming group. If you choose to have a single, you will also have a suitemate. For me, I preselected my roommate but my suitemates were randomized. Hope this helps :)

hi, so if you get a single room, your suitemate is the person who you will share the bathroom with. you'll have your own room which is connected to theirs thru your bathroom.

hey, most of the beds in IV double-style rooms were pre-lifted when we arrived. If you want to adjust the height of the beds you could also submit a work request and they'll be able to adjust it for you between 1-2 days.

hi, housing rates change every year and vary depending on if you live in a traditional style dorm or a suite style dorm. You can find more info about specific prices on the "Northeastern Housing Room Rates" page.

Hi! I'd honestly say I just got lucky. I am currently in the Fusion LLC but this LLC is spread out across three different places. There honestly is no guarantee that you will get to live in a certain dorm.

We were assigned to IV after choosing fusion, it was random between 153 Hemingway, Midtown hotel, and IV.
