URM has a very interesting fleet they run for operations the Sydney’s Northern Beaches. It’s a full Dennis fleet made up of Rear and Side Loaders all done up in unique and interesting colours. The trucks don’t have set streams so it’s quite interesting to see the different colours on different collections types.
The Northern Beaches has been a bucket lots council of mine so after having the opportunity to capture some trucks I snapped it up quickly. I like how they still run the older way of sorting waste into the 4 different bins: Garbage, bottles, paper & green waste.
This was taken last Friday in Collaroy in the dense apartment district just off the Main Street. Happy to say I also managed to get a blue and teal truck on paper! Cheers to the offsider and drive for letting me film.
