LAST YEAR THEY PREFORMED FOR OUR 45TH ANNUAL HONOLULU INTERTRIBAL POWWOW THEY WERE THE HOST DRUM THEY WERE TOTALLY AWESOME I'VE BEEN SINGING SINCE 2006 WITH MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND'S DRUM CALLED EAGLEPOINT AND MY FIRST ALBUM WAS NORTHERN CREE SINCE THEN I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO MEET THEM FAST FORWARD TO 2019 I GOT THAT CHANCE ON THE LAST OF THE POWWOW THEY LET ME TAKE A GROUP PICTURE WITH THEM BEFORE LEAVING TO HEAD BACK HOME THEY ARE ALL GREAT AND HUMBLE GROUP, THE DRUM I SING WITH NOW IS FROM HAWAII NAMED 808NDNZ MADE UP OF GREAT FOLKS WHO ARE FROM DIFFERENT TRIBES FROM THE MAINLAND U.S. BUT MOVED OUT HERE TO HAWAII FOR THEIR JOBS I'M THE ONLY ONE THAT IS BORN AND RAISED IN HAWAII, I GOT INTO POWWOW SCENE BECAUSE ONE MY SISTER AND HER HUSBAND ARE INTO TWO I LOVE CULTURE IT'S NOT SO DIFFERENT FROM HAWAIIAN CULTURE AND THREE IT IS A CHANGE OF PACE I'VE DANCED THE HULA AND SANG HAWAIIAN SONGS BUT SINGING POWWOW SONGS IS A WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE I'VE ENJOYED SINCE I STARTED THE 45TH ANNUAL HONOLULU INTERTRIBAL POWWOW IS ON KZfaq MY FIRST YEAR SINGING WITH 808NDNZ WAS IN 2018 IT FELT LIKE I WAS BACK IN TEXAS SINGING AT THE POWWOWS THERE NORTHERN CREE ARE REALLY A GREAT GROUP OF MEN AND WOMEN.
