white guy from KC, MO here...Northern Cree Singers ROCK!!! Like @MrRuffnecks, I don't know how any white person with a soul doesn't cry listening to your songs... At the same time, they also make me smile and laugh!! I can't get enough of them! They are powerful! They are beautiful! They are real! I hope you feel great pride in the incredible resiliency of native people here in North America that your singing and drumming represents! Thank you!!

While all instruments are good, and have their place, there's something about the drum and the voice together that connects to the spirit like nothing else. We need hymns written that call for the drum and voice combination, to thank God for His gift of music.

+lisa mercer The babies of our culture can sleep through this music as it is very similar to their mother's heartbeat. It soothes them to sleep even when the volume is so loud, kids of different cultures also experience this for the same reason. These songs are our medicine.

+singerboy dancing and enjoying is worship... worship to oneself for having the pleasure of making it this far, the pleasure of community, friendship, worship of all... that is what dancing and songs like this are about... because worshiping brings me pleasure No idea who is to be worshiped except nature, but there you have it... it is both.
