Was this in Canada and are you still keeping them? I will be doing another video now that I am back home updating on some of the parameters. These guys are on a 3 - 4 week schedule being fed small rats, I wish they would take chicks to vary the diet but no takers yet. Hotspot is 86 and cool get to 77 during the day and drops to 72 at night.

I was in Florida at the time. your temps sound great.....your feeding schedule is perfect. I never fed mine chicks but I started one of my green tree pythons recently on f/t quail and I think it makes sense to vary the diet although rats and mice should always be the bulk of the diet. .....my adult female ETBs had such powerful feeding responses I bet they would have eaten a warm light bulb ;). I also believe in supplementing the females with reptivite vitamins with D3 if you plan to breed them.....@@ECO-logy

Thank you, really appreciate it. Im currently using a Herpstat - 4. Absolutely love it, very easy to use. I have never tried any of the other thermostats but I dont think I will split from herpstat, they can be expensive but id say definitely worth the money 11/10.

@@ECO-logy is that herpstat-4 the big screen inside of there enclosure also? The big screen that looks like it is showing the temp and humidity?

Sorry for the late reply! No the herpstat4 is on top of the cages. Those big screens in the cages are like a thermometer/hydrometer i buy from the dollar store here in canada (dollarama) for $4 and use double sided tape to stick them on!

Unfortunately I couldnt find a link but they are called “Herald&Barnes Thermo Hygrometer and Clock” I buy them from Dollarama and they cost roughly $4.00. Hope this helps. I also see a bunch on amazon that look similar.

I absolutely LOVE grey banded kingsnakes!!! Between them and speckled kingsnakes they are awesome!!

@@ECO-logy As soon as I saw it I had to have one, and it’s not very often that they have them. Its only about 9 month old so its still a baby but the colours are awesome. I always check out the emeralds though when I go to the local shop, they are beautiful.
