last week i was at a party where everybody was busy playing rockband or whatever with guitars and mic and stuff.. then this song came up, but the original one from Qotsa, and i must say, this didn't really rock, ..and it wasn't the fault of the singer, really! i LOVE this version, and this video. northern lite got the best out of this song!

have to agree. I love synth rock (like electric six and so on) and electronic music, but the qotsa version has much more harmonic and sonic deepness and is overall more interesting. this is a bit - flat, a knocky bassdrum and a straight streamline doesn't make it better.

As a cover from a different genre (one which is not my favorite) I have to say this isn't too bad. But I much prefer the original. The drum machine just doesn't do justice to Dave Grohl's amazing work on it.
