Haven't been to LA Union, Vigan & other places in the North, except places where busses or private vehicles pass by when you go to Baguio. Yon lang . Love ur airbnb, the balaybythe sea. So unique, spacious, and Pinoy na Pinoy na balay talaga. Remember our ancestral home in Sor. Puro katipay windows rin. Love the places in the north. Supper love this vlog Ave! The one that really stood out for me is the Balay by the sea! Loved the way you did the house tour. you covered everything while Martin doing the video! You look lovely with the choker and outfits! The kalesa ride was fun! Love also the romantic scenes and the song, as if I'm watching a movie! Excited for more upcoming episodes! Hope and wish Philippines Board of Tourism will notice you, and you get to do a project with them coz Marve is the best ! God bless!

Love your visit to Ilocos! More modernized now than before. I visited Vigan in the 80's before I left for the US, courtesy of our Caltex VP, Mr. Ablan, a relative of the Marcos family. We toured the Marcos home, the ruins of the Cathdral where Imee Marcos got married and many interesting sites. We stayed at Fort Ilocandia, now a hotel and casino. At that time they built sand dunes, in back of the hotel. That was one of my happy escapades after doing a successful broadway show with the Caltex ensemble at the Manila Metropolitan! Enjoy your continued honeymoon escapade and God bless!

Ave you nailed it. WOW to Vigan - food (especially its very famous empanada, bagnet & longganisa), vintage houses/bldgs, calezas, and artifacts. Do you know the stuffing/ingreds of the traditional Vigan empanada shown here? I thought I saw cheese? Or cabbage? Im also interested to know if there’s a significance/reason for the dough color? Ty for your consideration.

Will definitely have to stay longer the next time we visit this part of Luzon. We usually leave Manila on a Friday and then travel back on Sunday so that’s just one full day for exploring this beautiful place. Your vlog made me realize that the Ilocos region has a lot to offer: from the scenic views, activities, culture, and food. Thanks for sharing with us your adventures. I've been there 2018 from cagayan de oro city to manila then from manila going to ilocos and we stayed at vigan then to the house of marcos in ilocos to pagudpud... nice road trip... I love the ambiance of the balay by the sea so relaxing, no noise, only the waves of the ocean and birds chirping around... I love the place where you have a bonfire...
