This is a further piece of our forgotten language. Northern Scots or the local Dialect, known throughout this area of Scotland as Doric.

Fit coo toon is that? Turra? True, the Scots tongue has many twangs. Even in the country. Strichen was different from Turra and New Deer different again. Therefore, all the districts have a fascinating-sounding speech of our auld Scots language. You are quite right in saying the fisher toons are a language apart but that makes our speech so interesting. Best wishes and keep doing your research into our native language.
