Today I'm planting cool flowers also known as hardy annuals. I learned about this awesome group of flowers from the book "Cool Flowers" available here - www.amazon.com/dp/0989268810?...
Cool flowers thrive in cooler temperatures and can be planting in late fall, late winter, or very early spring. Today I'm doing a very early spring planting of delphinium, foxglove, yarrow, scabiosa, snapdragons, sweet peas, starflower, and orlaya. I'll also show you some fall planted larkspur, nigella, dara, yarrow, foxglove, and sweet william. Then we can go down to the basement to see my presprouted ranunculus and get them in the ground in a caterpillar tunnel.
