Creating a Christmas Garden Room!!🎄Pressed Paperwhite Ornaments, Waxed Amaryllis, Natural Christmas

Today we’re creating a Christmas Garden room! Let’s transform my grow room into a holiday winter wonderland using only decorations found in the garden! I love natural Christmas decor and saving money, so these budget friendly Christmas decorations are perfect. We’ll use pressed paperwhites, acorns, sage, alliums, astilbe, and iron weed to decorate the dried flower Christmas tree. Then we will make evergreen planters with hidden amaryllis and plant amaryllis in a vintage blue glass vessel and grow them over water. Plus, we'll create a Christmas display using waxed amaryllis from Amaryllis and Caladium Bulb Company. Customers that sign up for their newsletter receive a 10% coupon code to use on their 1st order. The way I disguise exposed cords is I paint them in matching wall paint so they disappear to the eye. Lovely decorating job Danielle! Love the soothing color palette & of course the use of natural materials from your garden.

Your tree and room are exquisite. I love the use of the dried allium and other plants. They make cord covers that can be affixed to the wall and painted with your wall paint. They almost disappear.

Oh gosh, I LOVE this room! You have made it into a beautiful indoor garden haven. I love the blue accents and I wish I could get up the nerve to make a dried flower Christmas tree. This Christmas decor is so serene and calming. I am trying to slowly divest myself of most or all of my over-the-top holiday decor and lean more into a natural look. This video was so inspiring. What a beautiful space you’ve created! In regards to covering the cord to that lantern, you can get cord cover, sometimes called raceway, at Home Depot, or any big box store, and paint it to match your walls.

I don’t have a spare room to do that in-But I do transform my deck into a holiday room. I have sliding doors to a small deck and fill it with pots like yours( minus the amaryllis) . I fill them with pine cones and greens as well as spray painted alliums. I hang a wreath and put out plenty of candles. I put out weather resistant decor, including a pretty wooden angel. This year I have a 5 foot spruce tree in a pot that will be added! It’s fun and good for anyone that has extra outdoor space but limited indoors.

Danielle, I love your Christmas Garden room, with all of the muted natural colors, it could easily transition right into January. Where did you get the cute dried-flower ornament frames? What a great idea, planting the amaryllis bulbs and then surrounding them with yellow twig dogwood branches and arborvitae sprigs. The seed lights and especially your grandma's house number sign made this arrangement extra special. I have a suggestion to disguise the white electrical cord, pick up a paintable cord cover from any hardware/big box store and paint it to match your walls, then it will blend right in. The amaryllis in the low container bowl with the pine cones inspired me. I tried some clearance bulbs in a large ceramic bowl, and they are now flowering beautifully! I would say success!!

Lovely room, I always keep my Alliums as I love dried garden flowers. I have Hydrangea that I have preserved in gylcerine and although it does take the colour out of them, I have sprayed them. Your room as given me ideas to use more of my garden plants and the house number plate you have is just the best. It is such a lovely memory.

This Christmas garden room looks absolutely lovely and peaceful. The handmade ornaments using natural materials are wonderful! I think next year I'll have to buy some pumpkins to save for seeds. The allium on top of your tree 11:13 is Schubertii. The Christophii are smaller.

Just love your garden room. So pretty. Ameryllis and caladium company 20 minutes from my house. Unfortunately I’ve been spending too much time there lol. This year they have a beautiful waxed Ameryllis that’s dipped in white rat, wax and draped with red wax or silver wax dripped with white. You could get a battery powered artificial candle for your lantern or try painting your cord the same color as your wall. then take the cord over to the side of the window and staple it to the side of the window. It will make it less noticeable.

Your room is beautiful! I have 8x10 sunroom. I have a tree in there at Christmas but now I’m inspired to decorate it as a garden theme next year. I currently have dog and looney tune ornaments on the tree. I have 2 topiaries, and couple of plants I overwinter in there. And also 5 amaryllis from last year. Hoping they will bloom again. I have a retro record player in there with some old albums. Garden books and 2 chairs. It’s definitely my favorite room. Love your channel and I think Grace approves of the room.
