We travel east from Superior along HWY 2 across Northern Wisconsin and Michigan's U.P. over to Land O Lakes
Wisconsin. This video is a pure road trip and leads into the next video where we will enjoy the Northwoods
area of Land O Lakes and Phelps Wisconsin.

When I was a kid in the '50s we vacationed every year at my grandparents cabins on Big Portage Lake near Land O' Lakes. Back then there was no electricity, no running water, no TV or phones at the lake. We had an out house, a pump in the kitchen for water, an ice box for cooling, an oil stove for heat and Coleman lanterns for light. It was really cool and I have such fond memories from those wonderful days.
