I believe the early canal footage is the cannock extension canal from the turf to conduit road with conduit colliery ands basin to the right. the chimney is the one behind Durapipe as it's still there today.

Thanks for the video. However, I think it should be titled Brownhills in the 60's, not Norton (Canes). Actually can you please tell us which parts of Norton are on the film and at which time they appear?
