Both junk bots got destroyed. The expertly built combat robot got destroyed. The referee bot got destroyed. Robot sacrifice, dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria!

I always wanted to see a battlebot scrapyard wars, it seems like a match made in heaven. Props to NHRL for finally making it happen.

@@NHRL Would be so cool to give them time just until before the finals. That's often the moment when there's a lot of down time and that would be the best time. And maybe have teams who lost donate parts to both teams?

I've been waiting for this video since we got to chatting about it on the Skorpios builder blog channel. This did not disappoint. What a great idea for a special event. I also had flashbacks to programming a FlySky for the first time.

it's really interesting to see just how well builders get on in these sub ideal conditions. with how much practise and preparation that usually goes on behind each competitor, it's brilliant to see how it's handled when that all gets taken away and it's just down to raw skill as a builder and driver to be able to work with anything. I imagine you could likely see some of the smaller teams outperform some of the bigger more high tech teams like Jamison Go for example. that would be crazy to watch. Give them more junk, more prep time and let them have at it.... i'll be waiting with the popcorn 😁
