My name is Marita and I live in Oslo, Norway.
I am a UX and graphic designer, makeup enthusiast, fitness junkie, foodie and dog mom.

I love sharing my everyday life in my full day of eating vlogs, do some challenges and recipe videos, but most of all I love to have the occasional cheat day. 🍩 Once the world is back to a more normal state, I will also do a bunch of travel vlogs so stay tuned for that! 😄

Thank you so much!! 🥹❤️ I really appreciate all the love and support!! 🥰 We haven’t really felt the need to have a cheat day lately because we’re not dieting right now, so we allow ourselves more junk food on a daily basis really 😂 And my appetite is also lower since I’m generally eating more also. So we have no cheat day planned at the moment, but we do include more delicious food and snacks in vlogs and food challenges now so maybe that makes up for it? 😅

I don't doubt that everyone went to this event! 🙂 The event last year was most likely cancelled? Though I kind of recall seeing Matt in that blue suit. Thanks for Vlogging the day for us:)

Yeah, there has been no public celebration since 2019, so everyone was very ready for a party 😂 We have just celebrated with the family at home for the past two years so that’s probably where you have seen the suit 😄 Thank you! It was fun sharing with you guys 😁🇳🇴

Such a lovely tradition! 😄🇳🇴 btw I was surprised to see your Norwegian hotdogs served in wraps. Is that the norm over there? Here we just have normal hotdog bread and I know Sweden have it with mashed potatoes.

Yeah, it really is a great tradition 😄 Yeah, we have our hot dogs either in a bread or in a potato wrap. Or both if we’re feeling extra 😆 We’ll have it with mashed potatoes sometimes too though 😄

Depends on the neighbourhood. It’s not legal or very common, but in some neighbourhoods it’s becoming more common recently.

Where can you get the bunad if you are a foreigner? I would love to come with my friends next year and celebrate your national day!

We have special stores just for Bunad, but they have to be tailored and prices range from 1000-4000 usd 😅 There might be some similar ones sold in more normal clothing stores though, but I’m not sure if that’s just for kids or if you can find for adults as well 🤔 Maybe there are some online stores that sell them. Or you can buy one used from Finn.no (Norwegian online private markedplace). 😊
