That's one of my two favorite Keillor quotes but PHC has been off the air so long that I didn't remember they're both in the same Wobegon monologue. The other quote was "The urge to perform is no sign that a person has talent."

this is my life to a T. My beloved died in March. We were married 50 years ago. He is gone yet he is everywhere. I miss him so.

My dad listened to this for as long as I can remember, usually in the car when we were going somewhere. Nobody said a thing. We just listened. This was our first Christmas without him and oddly enough my mom is doing the same thing, clearing out the house unless something is very important to her and adjusting to how different the house is now.
