Will Studd travels to the spectacular fjords of Norway to look at rare skimmed milk cheeses dating back to Viking times. After learning about a traditional fresh cow's milk cheese called Pulltost he visits a family making a cheese called Gammelost, which lives up to its notorious reputation for smelling like old socks. The episode ends in the beautiful 'valley of the goats', where Will samples Ghetost, an ancient sweet brown caramel cheese remarkably similar to fudge.
