Goals we should've had in the first half, mad that we were 0-1 down to start with really. Outside of that one mistake, we looked pretty solid and Rowe really announced himself. Onwards and upwards!

Fantastic result

This is now Wagner’s side. He has been making excellent use of pre-season to refresh the squad and inject a new shape and mentality to the team. Rowe and Placheta are like new players this season, Barnes, Duffy and Stacey have all added experience and on field presence. Sure there are around 5 really tough other sides in this division, but we should be strong enough to at least equal the rest.

Norwich were all over us but thankfully their finishing was under par, even woful at times. Cracking first goal for them and with a little help from the referees watch they managed to win it a day after they first kicked off! Fair result on the day.

Did enough to be out of sight by the break. Hulls only ambition was to contain us and leave with a point. Once we’ve got rid of some of the close season rust,this group will really click. Quick on the ball,technically accomplished,with an ambition to drive forward and,maybe crucially,the addition of some steel. No quarter asked none given. The fact that we now take to the pitch to Guns n Roses “Welcome to the Jungle” is a fitting metaphor; in the championship jungle it’s survival of the fittest. The journey has started well.

Strength, size and power. Skill doesn't matter so much. As long as you can put it about and shift bodies out of the way, that's the important thing.
