Lemme fix that horrible exposition in the beginning. Gramma: "Where do you think you're going?? SUSAN!" [Julie stops, giving gramma a look of frustration with a hint of despair] Gramma: "I'm... I'm sorry Julie. It's just... you remind me so much of..." Julie: "I know gramma. I really have to go..."

Well there IS Cobra Kai, that show that's on Netflix or something that follows the Karate Kid story respectively, but in the mind of the first blonde guy in the film and Daniel Lueroso is the thorn in his side.

Karate Kid 1 - Classic! Karate Kid 2 - A look into the history of his master and goes from fighting to show up bullies and prove himself to fighting for his life and that of a love interest - Great! (and that awesome song Glory of Love) Karate Kid 3 - Dawn of the cliches in its own franchise...business on hold for revenge, really? I thought the bad sensei from the 1st movie got his beating breaking his hands and being humiliated by Mr. Miyagi in Part 2. Karate Kid 4 - Well, Hillary Swank had some good emotional scenes but...school security...and having that kind of military power....ugh

@@ECL28E I've only seen parts of it in passing but even though I'm not a huge fan of what I saw, 2010 version is leagues above 3 and 4. The actors in 3 and 4 weren't really the problem. The plot however...somebody was high or drunk somewhere.

First Karate Kid was Amazing, & both the teacher & student were Great characters. Sorry I can spell the teachers name so I am not going to try. That is why I fail 🤣🤣
