The opening scene of the film with the hero team was so good in my opinion. Imagine if the ENTIRE MOVIE was about this plot.

Fun fact - the aliens were supposed to be apart of the Pheonix Saga, where Jean destroyed a solar system and was judged to almost be killed for that.
