My grandma always used a bread box and I thought it was such a good idea. But here I am, and old grandma myself, and I've never had one. I think it's a counter space issue for me. But it's really neat that you got one and it's very attractive to boot. You could use it in another room for something else if need be. Enjoy it.

Hi Wendy, I’m a Snoopy Fan too. That was a good find. I won’t go into Goodwill on Wednesday as it is Senior Day and those Seniors are ruthless. I am a Senior and I will never act like some like that. Some Goodwill prices are ridiculous.

I have a bread box , i use mine to hold my coffee and creamer containers ! I painted mine and decorated it in a coffee theme! 😊

Goodwill is definitely hit or miss. The one near me only does 2 colors a day and senior day is Tuesday. I'm never off on Tuesdays to go anymore. I like to go on off hours so I don't hit the crowds or when kids are there. That's a good idea for the bread box and that's a big one you got. I do that too, take a car load to donate and then run in to see if I find anything special.

Yea, goodwill or the DI has really raised their prices. Their almost the same prices as if you went to Ross or Walmart. It's unreal how store's are raising prices but our income hasn't moved. Being a long haul trucker our income hasn't changed and we're out on the road for long time. Most 9 to 5 jobs are making alot more than we are anymore. But if we got paid hourly instead of by the mile. Most people wouldn't be able to buy anything at all.

I you agree Goodwill has went completely out of the range. I have seen my Goodwill here buy things from Dollar tree and bring them in there and sell them for three times the amount.. ridiculous I have quit shopping there.

I've always loved goodwill but the price is getting to be a bit high especially for things that you can get new on temu or the dollar tree. You just have to really look like you did. ❤😊
