Ministry of Education: Remita -#300 online (There are Cafes at the ministry or you do it online yourself. Cafes charge for their services I cant remember the total. (Budget 500-1000 per document, they’re going to scan and upload)
Ministry of Foreign Affairs: #1000-2000 per document (Stamp only original copies. No need to stamp photocopies). Some charge per page (negotiate the price. It used to be 500-700 per page)
Super legalization: (Prce varies according to ypur destination’s embassy)
For Czech embassy Abuja current price is #20,300 (Changes based on FX rates at the embassy).

Buh I have a question, currently I reside in Kuwait and almost moving to Czech Republic for masters program in a university in Moravian Silesian region. I have done this legalization in the education ministry in Abuja and foreign affairs office before leaving in 2019. As soon as I get a visa interview date am coming home to get this things done. And in your video you said once there's changes in the ministry of foreign affairs office you need to do the legalization again. So that means am to start all over from the ministry of education again to foreign affairs down to the Czech embassy. Thank you so much God bless you

Yes, once there’s a change in official who signed in 2019, you’ll have to legalize again. Because the officials always recognize the signatures or if there’s been a change in personnel.

In case you legalize, super legalize and notrificate of documents early before Application does it expire. Instance you legalize 1 month before applying does it expire.

If you mean getting visa decision same day as others you were interviews together, then no. Everyone is assessed differently, results varies and notice of visa or otherwise also varies regardless of whether you all went together.

Hie Bola, I have a question, I was accepted at Mendel University and they said I need to superlegalize my docs. My country uses the Czech Embassy in Zambia. The embassy website states that superlegalization is only done on the original public document and not on copies. Also, that original public document should have the legalization stamp on it. My interpretation of this is that they put their stamp on my actual certificate and transcript. Was this the same case for you. Were your actual original documents stamped by the embassy of the czech republic. Is that even a thing whereby stamps and seals are put on your Original Certificates.

@@luckycole7172 some people are lucky, some sort their way form MOE and some it is plain luck at the Czech embassy not a norm. Don’t follow another’s footstep if you can afford to do the right thing. I spent hours at MOE begging to legalize original copy of my transcript but it was printed copy.

If they send to organizations, then find a company you know someone who can receive on your behalf. Or send to the particular office at the ministry of education in abuja where you’ll be legalizing the documents

Your school does it. However, MUP doesn’t do it for their international students so they direct you to other schools that does (ask your coordinator). Then you send the copy to them after your degrees have been evaluated to conform with Czech standards.

Please next time I’ll suggest you drop the questions in the video it concerns, it helps me to respond better (brain thing). 1. My department didn’t press on it for application. So I didn’t attach until I was asked to send which I had done at a govt general hospital for visa purpose but not on Hradec medical sheet. 2. Not sure how to respond to that. The usual ML or SOP format 3. Yes. Issuing office for schools differs as I learnt.

Legalization is done on originals. Notarization is done on the photocopies of the legalized original documents. You find a notary lawyer to do that for you.

When you super legalize, send a scan or picture to your coordinator then ask if you need to notarize the photocopies before sending them.

I have a question concerning document translation for srudent visa application purposes. I have spoken with a translator in Czech who says they can translate document based on the mailed scanned version of my legalised and super legalised document which will be printed out and bounded with the certified translation and subsequently sent back to me by DHL. Another translator says they can not bind certified translation to email printed documents unless the original or notarized copy is sent to them. Can you please advise if the Czech Embassy will be satisfied with the certified translation bounded with emailed printed documents rather than the notorized document?

Hi Bola, For transcript, most Nigerian universities rarely give out originals but I used the organization I’m currently working with to collect an original which is stamped and signed. The only problem I have now is that my transcript is watermarked with ‘for only the organization use only’ . It is original but watermarked. Can I still authenticate it at MOE and use it in Czech because I just got admission at Mendel University?

I’m not sure but if it’s not saying “student copy” And does not have the “name” of the organization on it, you may just be able to use it

Yes. You can tell them at ministry of education that it’s your husband. They’ll likely ask for proof because you can only do for someone you’re related to (or other naija way)

For the transcript, can I superlegalize an unofficial (student's) copy cos my school don't release official copy to students they'll rather send it to where it's needed. My concern is that the students copy is usually marked COPY boldly with a broad font in the background of each pages of the transcript. Hope that's not a problem

Find an acceptable address at the Ministry of Education (dept for authentication and legalization) send it there and go pick it up after legalization . Send to an organization for employment purpose or send to a university and have someone you know pick it for you. Those are the means. For MOE you can call them and ask for address or something I’m not sure of their address for receiving student transcript

You said you have done nostrification? Or do you mean Authentication at both ministries? You need to superlegalise at the embassy before sending to your school. “That’s the super legalization clause”

Greeting Bola, I have been try to do nostrification of my high school diploma(waec) , Its quite unfortunate that the school i applied for in czech are not authorized to assist student in this process like other schools. Please i really your assistance and guardian on how to go about it. My school (MUP) sent a couple of links that i have gone through all and i am yet to get a solution. Please i need help.

Please one more question , I know the visa application takes up to 60 days , so what if my study enrollment falls between those 60 days before my visa is responded , will I still be granted the visa despite my enrollment date has passed ?

If your school allows enrollment pass the initial date and confirms to the MOI that you’ll be allowed to resume the semester.

You can mail the program coordinator to ask. No harm in trying, philosophy isn’t so complex in terms of requirements but I don’t know how your Bsc will impact acceptability for a master’s programme.
