Not much fun dropping doors, especially in the summertime. Back in my farming days we didn't have high moisture corn, but had alfalfa haylage and corn silage in upright silos. The alfalfa silage chute was always a miserable climb in the summer.

Well Andy I really do not envy you climbing up in that silo and lowering the unloader and emerging covered in dust. The dust is nasty stuff, but those silo's can be dodgy to work in on your own. Another fine installment!

I said it before and I’ll say it again, Alex has adapted nicely to running tractor trailer & now she also has a big articulated tractor for tillage also

On the bottom feed roll that plate on the bottom we were told it was a corn plate and not to run it with hay for rocks coming through. There is a rock guard to put in it that we are trying this year. Seems to be helping

@@PAYNEKILLER.. Everyone is different. If you love what you do, and especially if you were raised doing it, you don't notice the time, you notice what you get done each day, whether you spent 8 or 18 hours doing it. You really don't notice it. And you sleep well, every single night.

Andy, you need to design and fabricate your own hydraulic lift for the feedrolls. You can figure it out better than any "educated" idiots that don't have a clue about what you need. Patent it, and offer to sell the patent to JD first. If they don't buy it, double the price and switch to the brand that buys it. Get a free chopper!😂😂😂
