in an interview with Fuse Tv he was asked if you never know is a true story, he answered it was but he changed the chronological order and he has lost major love in his life, hope ths helps

A component that alot of people miss, is that it was him returning to his previous habits and hangouts that ultimately put him in chains; taking him away from having the option to speak to her; or her to him. Which ultimately would've been the fleeting last year of time that they had. He could have at least been there for her and with her, if he had stayed on the path that she had influenced him to travel... Instead he gave that last year of hers to the state😢

Yes I noticed that, altho I didn't comment on it (I always look back and go, "I should have said that!" 😄)... after she turned him down he turned to his old friends and old ways instead of letting things happen naturally and possibly have allowed her to confide in him. What a tragedy. He's so good at weaving a tale!

Thank you so much for doing this reaction. Also, I'm curious if on repeated listenens, you progressively start feeling the emotion of the song grow even more and more. I Personally Start crying pretty uncontrollably these days when I listen to it. I think the main reason the song feels so meaningful, is I heard Tech in an interview when asked, that its a true story. The details in the song start feeling more distinctly specific and intimate, like a real "real love" ought to feel. Sorry, I just love this song, and am deeply stuck in the past of my life. Much love, glad youre still going on reacting to amazing music.

The one who's singing is Jean Grea & she raps as well & she's better than all of the women in the music industry. This song used to make me cry & same goes for the off 2 the races song by Joe Budden to more more songs from Joe Budden.
