Chad, I have a horrible fear of tornadoes. Back 50 years ago. I lost my great uncle in a tornado. He lived on his families homestead and the house was wiped clean off the foundation, leaving all their summer canning of the years past neatly sitting on the cellar shelves. My 2 great aunts that lived with him were found wrapped in barb wire. One had to be life flighted to Cincinnati with barb wire clear to the bone. It was devastating to go for his funeral and go past the farm. We all went to the farm afterwards and it was quire hard to see. I am a Most 70 years old nd I am scared sh -less to this day. Prayer help but I have a deep fear of them.

Hi Doss family! Praying for all of you in harms way and hedges of protection around you all 🙏🏻🤟🏻 I lived through the April 3rd 1973 tornado outbreak and my mom and I watched it split and hit 2 miles from us. Very scary and will do what I can. God bless 🙏🏻-Tina in Kentucky

😮Hello from Charlotte NC. With all the trees you got, the blue spuces are perfect Christmas 🎄 trees. It would look great to have them planted by the entrance you just cut down by the house. You can put Christmas lights on them and it would look great when coming up to the house

Chad, I fully agree with your assessment of tornados vs fire. I experienced a tornado when i was about 13 or so and a house fire when i was about 16...where the house filled with poisonous gas from insulation slow smoldering due to a heating tape on the hot water heater shorting out (mom had a hard time waking me up to get out of the house). At 60, I worry about the possibility of fire but I'm terrified of the wind! Prayers for all the tornado victims everywhere 🙏💞

You need to build Oscar a covered grassy area so he won’t pee or poop on the deck. My daughter’s mini dachshund didn’t like the snow because his weeny got too cold, lol. Her hubby built him a covered area that kept the rain and snow out

In May of 1965, there was a large outbreak of tornados 🌪 , mainly in Fridley Minnesota. One dad was with his wife at the hospital, mom gave birth to a little girl, older brother was with family, that baby was not given this name but her nickname was Windy (not Wendy). I was 9 years old and very much remember that storm.

Chad something you need to research, Palm Trees are a member of the GRASS family, they have a very shallow root system. They are susceptible to being blown down. When my grandfather decided to build his last house we had over 1000 palm trees that he wanted all around the property and along all the roads on the 80 acres. All was good till we got a good wind, this was in Phoenix AZ, no tornados, just straight winds. About half of them went down. Of those we were able to stand about a1/4 of them back up and they grew. Not saying don't do them but put them where they can't take anything out when they fall. Oh yea they need tons of maintenance every year you have to cut off the lowest round of fronds and they collect spiders and bugs like crazy.
