I like it. I really needed a Magneto and I missed out on all the others ones before this one. I only collect 1/4 scale so I jumped on this on day one.

What sold it for me is the holding the helmet switch out. This will be the first time I’ll display Mags without his helmet. I also like the flowing cape and flowing white hair.

I like this. I like the beefier look. I like the stoic portrait. I like that it seems like he's bending the sentinel around him.

I’m a huge Mags fan, but I don’t collect him like I do Batman statues. Batman statues are usually very dramatic with the cape. Having said that, I ordered that Legendary Beast Mags and I feel like that’s all the Mags I need in my collection. Great review as usual G-Mintizzle!!

Actually a big fan of the statue with the exception of the Liefeld inspired arm. Not sure if its too late for them to fix it.

The way they did the purple waist and underwear makes him look elongated. Reminds me of SSC first Batman PF.

I do like this Magneto from XM. Love the way he's not just standing there. He is moving forward using his power to levitate metal fragments to use as a stepping stone. He is not fighting anyone so there's no reason for a mad or teeth bearing expression on his face. He is just using his power to move objects to his convenience. I do like him holding his helmet while showing his helmet less portrait the best. The arm making the rose metal piece levitate with his helmet on is my second favorite. The other two right arm switch out are ok but not as impressive or necessary. Looks great in my opinion and for the price and total made , I just might Preorder it.

Just curious, how can one purchase a statue from one of the retailers HQ in the Asian region, like XM studios, Queen Studios, etc since they don't ship to the Western region? I see Tubers like yourself have statues from them but live in the States

I agree with you. They should’ve just started from scratch after the negative feedback from the initial reveal. Magneto is an A-list character and should bring in a lot of revenue for XM, but I have a feeling this will be a fairly low ES due to the lack of interest in this subpar statue.

This piece grew on me. I took some time checking it and I was one of the people that bashed this but I came across this discussion about the piece. For me, this is a Magneto I want to own. Demonstring power with very little effort.

This is the 2nd statue that I didn't like from beginning and ended up liking it. Do you feel different now that you saw it in person? I mean did anything change in your opinion as opposed to your original feedback?

Totally get what you mean. For me, the most intense Magneto is still the white suit. The pose, base, expression. Just didn't gain that much popularity because it wasn't OG inspired.

The portrait on this one is far better than the other Mags they've done thus far. All other issues aside, great portraits, especially the unmasked.

I don't even remember ordering this, I'm so disappointed. I don't even like it, huge miss. I have the White costume and tons of customs. I really don't know how I ordered this. Especially hoping someone did this Dawn of X in a new White. Selling it immediately.

I feel like I’ve been becoming more of a fan of XM studios because I like this piece. I do think his arm is a little bigger than it should be and he has that gigachad presence that I love about magneto. The sentinel base on this one may look like the sideshow one but the paint on the sentinel’s face looks miles better on XM’s. Sideshow had that cheap plastic toy looking paint. Also love the sentinel base. Ppl get mad at them but are fine with them making the same 90’s costumes over and over again for X-men that I’m over seeing. More modern please XM

Although I don't love this one (the white suit, throne, and SSC pieces are all better IMHO), this one isn't the worst Mags I've seen. I like the unmasked portrait and would totally display it. My problems are with the large base (although it's not as egregious as other pieces), underoos (personal gripe on nearly any character), and price. I do hope XM continues doing HOX/POX characters... I'd probably bite the bullet on a HOX/POX Storm!

XM studios runs hot, and cold. They hit a homerun with Apocalypse, But this Magneto falls a little flat for me. Jean Grey is coming out, and I think It's gonna be another miss. I hope they Mr. Sinister looks good (I want to get rid of my Sinister on Throne)

I love the flower switch out but if you don't read comics you won't get it. The problem is the leg position. Looks awful and why is it a Sentinel base? Sentinels had no role in latest X-Men run. Great channel.

XM have great detail and paint but they often lack the fundamental sculpt/pose/anatomy/sense of motion.

Not feeling it either. Looks clunky-Magneto on steroids. Something looks off with the front leg also. The XM 1/3 looks so nice I wish they would make a 1/4 version. I will probably have to settle for SS later down the road.

Not a fan. XM definitely feels like they are just pumping out these 1/4 statues and the concepts tend to be a miss. For example, with their upcoming DC 1/4 line, so far we have seen Superman and Batman. Superman looks “meh” and Batman, probably one of the worst Batman concepts I’ve seen on a 1/4 scale. Not a fan. But at the end, XM still tends to deliver a grail or 2 every once in a while, so can’t complain.

His body is too square looking, looks real boxy, the pose doesn’t look right at all, yea not feeling it at all. The thing is, how many misses does Prime1 have? Very few, if any at all, I’ve yet to see a Prime1 statue that I didn’t like. But there’s a bunch of XM statues I don’t like.

This Magneto is wack. XM has been falling off. Also, their paint applications are the same with every statue. Prime 1 & Sideshow have been shitting on them lately. The recent Nightcrawler from XM is a total fail. SS revealed their Nightcrawler a long time ago and it still bodies the XM version. I like XM and have 3 statues from them, but these dudes suck these days.

Less mutants from all companies. Marvel has more interesting characters than Mutants. I would rather have a XM Nova, Silver Surfer, Doom, and Sam Wilson than another Magneto.

I'm not into the statue either. Capes, I mean they get in the way. I remember back in the day, that Marvel characters didn't really have capes because that was for the DC universe. Oh well maybe the next statue will be cool.🥱
