@@peepeevsyou're literally just wrong it's almost exactly a 1% chance to draw 6 traps in a deck that is 40 cards and 20 traps.

@@peepeevs if you were drawing only a single card at the beginning of your duels, it would still be 1 in 4 chance to draw 2 traps in a row, and you are drawing 5 which exponentially lowers the chances of having only traps, so imagine how wrong you are

To be fair, This week was very winnable for him lol, Danger Salad isn't orthodox but it's definitely not bad, Dangers gat cards into grave and deep draw which is great for Salad, the Salads kind of make it to where Doug's only game plan isn't summon big attack guy, and Kaijus are honestly staples with Doug's pool

eldlich being legacy banned fucks over vampires so bad how about if you go into a secret pack with a legacy banned card and you pull the legacy banned ur/sr card you can exchange it for other cards or more packs so maybe we can see vampires in future?

The problem with the pack is more than just that the risk of pulling Eldlich. Half of Immortal Royalty is designed around having Eldlich on field, and without some way to basically ensure that you'll not only pull, but also be able to summon Mad Golden, it's just not worth the risk. As much as I would love to see a proper Vampire deck, especially with Ghost, without some special exception for that pack specifically, it's just not worth the risk of wasting a weeks pulls

@@Druid-T oh i totally forgot about eldlich has multiple srs and mad golden lord as ur maybe they get 1 to 1 exchange for every eldlich sr/ur just for that pack since afaik there is no other secret pack is like this and vampire is getting done dirty in the saga just for eldlich

ooh! that is an interesting idea. Something like “If you open a secret pack with an archetype that has a structure deck, you can replace 10 secret packs with 1 structure deck” would be interesting

There's literally a 3.1% chance of drawing all traps (and a 1.7% chance of drawing all monsters with that ratio). 3%ers aren't impossible, but it's well within the range of MBT doing his best to hedge against it.

Tbf, hes not upset about not drawing 5 monsters, hes upset about not drawing a single monster in 3 opening hands in a row, given half of his deck being monsters Edit: it was not 3 in a row, but still incredibly unlikely

@@redblue200 I will admit, I am greatly misrepresenting his deck. He has a roughly a 65% chance to open at least 1 Normal Summon and 2 Traps. His odds for opening at least 1 Marincess card and 2 Traps is 38% and his odds for opening at least 1 Traprix card and 2 Traps is 44%. Then his odds of opening conflicting normal summons (at least 1 Marincess Monster and 1 Traptrix Monster) is 27%.

I swear, Doug is this close to adding a rule in season 5 that if someone pulls 5 copies of a super or ultra from their secret packs that week, they are allowed to dismantle all 5 of them for one craft of their choice from the secret pack.

I think you should be able to craft "in archetype" cards for both your 1 time crafts, and the loser bonus crafts. So when new stuff not in the secret pack is important, you can make it. See the steelswarm pack having its most important card locked behind legacy packs.
