Really good movie and great actors

Lots of BS in this narrative. Let's start with the Trini Lopez character -- you say his character was murdered off. Actually, he was killed when he parachuted into Germany during the mission. The team says it as they gather. A broken neck hung up in a tree. No murder. Who cares about their age. They're actors & their age is not that far off from some serving members of the Army. How about an example of inaccuracy in "Bonnie & Clyde." Warren Beatty (29 years old) was too old to portray Clyde (25 -- he was dead) and Warren was 6'1 when the real Clyde was a mere 5'7. No one bellyached about it. John Wayne played Davy Crockett in The Alamo & he was 6'4 when Crockett was a mere 5'8. No one said anything about it. I do know they tried to stay within the boundaries of age with The Dirty Dozen because the original Reisman was supposed to be John Wayne. Wayne turned the role down because he felt he was too old for it & objected to parts of the script. That didn't stop him from making The Green Berets years later at 60. Tossing grenades into the bunker resulting in massive explosions? Grenades are projectiles designed to rip & tear flesh -- when they explode they're not dynamite. So, every serviceman I ever spoke to about it said the scene was laughable. Lee Marvin, a real decorated serviceman buried in Arlington National Cemetary had issues with realism in this film & I agree with him. The film is entertaining though. The best all-star film cast second only to "The Magnificient Seven." Very confusing narration that doesn't make certain things being discussed clear. Better details would help. Better writing.
