Just watching you turn and off the isolator……I always take it out and leave it in my van when I’m serving a machine. I never had anything happen but just got into the habit of it. Last week I was servicing a zaxis 130 and never noticed the operator jumping into the cab. He got back out and told me the machine wasn’t turning on. He got a shock when I told him there is no oil in the engine as I’m half way through its service. Just goes to show it’s always a good idea to turn off the isolator!

hi ali i used to be a mot inspector and fitter but got sick of the new tec and add blue problems so went back to my roots and bought a dx55r and just do ground works and building now less stress and far better money great vid as always

🙏👍Ali, find doing jobs for other dealers or same industry dealers with our product the only time pressure is on, feel like your being tested, as most times it’s not about having the diagnostic equipment, but the skill set we develop over the years. Ali, I was surprised you didn’t first check Ad Blue level physically in the tank before linking out that plug, would you ever consider extending by soldering ideally the wires & revert back to the OEM plug? Ali, I follow a few automotive channels on here and they always have a battery charger on when programming any ECU to maintain voltage. Maybe you do this but I’ve not heard you mention it before. Might be a good idea when you were saying about bricking the ECU.

Charge the operator a fortune for downtime, but I bet they don't refund a customer any when they fail to hand over the property on time! Mini did a software update on my mam's car a few years back and it crashed the system mid update. Nothing the dealer did would fix this and the car remained a paper weight for a week. They ended up having to bring someone up from Oxford to completely reprogram the car again to get it to work. Now whenever they say 'There's an update available, would you like us to do it?', the answer is no!
