That happens more often than you think. An example was a WL, rio above 2.2k, approx. 430 ilvl, and doing brackwell, he was under 40k on the 1st bossfight on a +15.

My friends and I were pugging into 11 - 15s for Wyrm Crests, got into a 13 or so VP where the leader was a 418 Ass Rogue doing sub 30k DPS in AoE and applying poisons on every pull for some reason. It was fine because my normal group is beyond doing that key range normally, but those kinds of players definitely exist lmao.

I mean there’s some real bad pugs out there from 10-20 lul. Depleted a 13 vp on a geared tank ,the healer was just kinda there for the ride hehe but sometimes you get a group like this and it works out

My boomie alt is a decently geared 418. S1 4set, BiS trinkets and offpieces etc....I starteed with +11s and +12s so I could farm all the crests i would need in the future and trust me when i say that, it was DREADFUL. I'm talking about depleting +12 UR with 40 deaths kind of dreadful. The lower the key, the worse it gets, it's insane.

Why does dorki think growl is a bad healer

Just went into a +13 pug underrot, let me give you the rundown. I'm a pretty new player, only started M+ this expansion so still getting used to stuff, I make mistakes, I fk up my rotation on occasion and I'm playing Enhancement shaman so that tanks my dps. I can still generally hold 100-200k on a reasonably sized pull, and around 60k single target. So I'm not going to carry, but I'm not dead weight either. We had a tank paladin, 415(which I find reasonable btw), he pulled no more than 2 mobs at a time. Would not respond to anything, and if we pulled more he let us die. Healer was healing 25-30k with 417 gear, so even with tank tanking we tended to die. Moonkin DPS was holding 25k on single target. Pugs m+ are wild, but I don't have friends to play with so that's life :D

The thing I see especially on frost dks is that they have no clue. I once saw a frost do who didn’t press obliterate once…

Sometimes its just super weird tbh had multiple times where last season 3k io this season 2k+ players were just not pressing their buttons. Ie a resto in a 13 not using a single lifebloom with the double lifebloom talent. But tbh that is always pretty fun more so then a nuisance

I once had a 435 voker and 440 hunter did 50k and 60k overall in a +20. They both had a bunch of 20s timed(prob bought them), I dont think dorki understands how bad some people are

Did a 15 brak with my 395 spriest. Did 65k overall but it was with 2 of my guildies

11-15 are the worst. When i have to farm for the shit crests, i have healers not healing or dispelling (Fun this weeks affixes), dps not Interrupting and allways be under my dps as Tank. They just are the worst keys :D

I pugged a 18 Uldaman and was a Brew tank and the healer was a holy pala. I outhealed the pally 1.5 times, and his downtime was 55% his dps was 300 Week 2. How they get this far, amazes me.

Season 1 i frequently beatsome dps as a disc priest. Was very frustrating.

15 mythic in season 1 gear is hella hard. And I dont se problem with pugging, Im pugging all the time 18 rn

15-19s are horrific at the moment, so many awful players who do not give 2 shits about the key

I had a pug run with a very high geared rogue. He did no damage.. And I mean literally, 0 damage. He stood in the back and never released, waited for ress. We kicked his ass and finished the key. Some people are just unbelievably bad

ST and frost DK are non-existant unless they actually make Obliteration work in ST. I'm a main frost DK ( with 432 ilvl ) and i can't hit 80-90k ST in any encounter and i absolutely refuse to play the breath spec. AoE tho... that's a whole different beast.

i feel like every time i do a 16 i have someone in there doing healer dam but that guy is a blaster rat.

They're trying to do a 15 for the mount, trying to skip the gearing and learning process.

Sometimes you get groups that just blast in the bracket, or you get people who literally know 0% of the dungeon.

Did a BH yesterday and there was a destro lock(ilvl 423) who did 38k overall... monk tank with ilvl 413 was doing 70k overall... me(426 mm hunt) and the other dd (435 retri pala) both did around 100k. it was atrocious.

You're joining a guy who has a 2.3k main though. It's no surprise that his alt can blast. These aren't the pugs random Joe ends up in

This just proves the mantra "bring the player, not the class/ilvl" I've had a 398 G.druid absolutely smash his way up to 15 and i hardly healed him. Then had a 420ish prot warrior who never pressed shield block. I've had two identically leveled, identically talented players, do 80k and 50k on the overall in the same key.

Wait, you guys even get to start AND finish keys? It takes 30-40 minutes alone to find a group as a DPS and then half the time healers just rage quit frequently af.

We're 2 seasons, 11 months, and like 100ilvl later and I'm still finding pug dps doing 40k-60k. Its rough out here in pug land

its 100% true. people try running 15+ keys in sub 400 ilvl without any dungeon knowledge. When I've tried to suggest they look up the dungeon mechanics they say "I shouldn't have to look anything up to play"

What is the trick to get into higher keys as an unholy dk these days? Sitting around 415ilv I think and I don't even get taken for a 5 or even a 2. Highest I've done was a 9 last season with a few 7/8 all over, but now I have next to no luck on getting in on keys

this dk was a player, you can tell by the fact that he got stunned by the berserkers before 2nd boss and used icebound to release stun, also using his defensives ams etc pug life is hard sometimes its good sometimes its bad

15s are hit/miss. I've personally been in keys, as a healer, and ended up on overall damage above a dps (more than once). People simply get overgeared players to push their keys up b/c people are farming wyrms, without actually understanding the dungeons.

bruh, i joined vortex 13.. where an ele shammy was doing less dps then me on my resto druid ON aoe O.o..

had a feral + a mm in a 12 vortex who did 25k overall dps each (420+ ilvl)

OCE have been resistance training for years.

I did a 17 fh with a 442 tank. Worst tank I played with all week.

Pug 10 keys next tyran week and get back to us. Even better if you go as a dps that can’t hard carry a pug.

The reason Dorki didn't get the 30k ST Andy is because we used them all up.

A good tank is also essential for some DD classes. So, when I play my shadow and tank can't gather the mobs properly and stand still for 2 sec, my AOE drops down due to I then have to dot each add one by one. Testing in freehold made a diff of more the 30kdps on average. So dear tanks, if a shadow or warlook is in your grp, please don't jump around all the time like hell. Or otherwise don't complain about the dmg.
