In fall of 2021, I set off on a bikepacking trip from Calais, Maine. 29 days and 3,000 miles of incredible experiences later, I reached Key West, Florida! Here is my story :)
Want some bike artwork? Visit www.reginayan.me/donate to give to the East Coast Greenway and get a thank-you gift from me!
Listener beware, I did not do a good job with sound editing and the music is way too loud

As a long distance cyclist for over 50 years, I was deeply touched by this video. Well done - it communicates what bike touring is all about: “The sights, the sounds and the way you feel, when the world expands from a spinning wheel” (from a poem I wrote after one ride in 1974) I highly recommended reading “The Handsomest Man In Cuba”, a very entertaining account of Lynette Chiang’s solo bike ride around Cuba.

My favourite part of this was when you showed you have friends in half the cities on the eastern seaboard, and then still described yourself as an introvert. Also, great work, this is legitimately really impressive

Greetings from Newcastle upon Tyne / England / UK . . . . I could hardly believe what I seen at 5:38 on the door of the bike shop, a poster showing the label of a bottle of Newcastle Brown Ale, our famous beer. Fantastic video and it was a joy watching it. Very well done, you are great. 😀

Wow, congratulations 🎉👏, amazing how u did 140 miles in a day. Especially when you said you didn't train much. The secret to any long trip is to pace yourself. Rest when you need it. Lemon grass spray helps to keep the mosquitoes away. Lavender spray helps to keep the ticks off.

Great video! I'm really glad I found it. I do a fair amount of bike touring and I'm trying to figure out "what's next" (I did the Pacific Coast in fall 2022, and Lands End, England to John O'Groats, Scotland May of '22; I've also done Oregon to Boston and New Orleans to Canada in the past). I'm 66 years old (and very extroverted!) and your video has really helped me want to do the Easy Coast Greenway!! I'm quite impressed by your mileage too! Congratulations on the century, that's awesome!! And thank you for watching -- I didn't really go into this, but I bike commuted to work which was ~20 miles a day, so I did have a solid base leading up to the trip even without any specific prep. Also, slow & steady is the way to go on these haha so what I lacked in speed & power I made up in hours-per-day haha
