The leave in alone gives good definition when applied to soaking wet hair. Surprisingly, the cream has a stronger hold and definition than the gel.

I do understand what you are saying! It looks okay still! It looks more like a 3 day or 4 day old Wash n Go for the first day! For me, l like a much more tamed and controlled look, that way l know my hair will definitely last! I think this Gel would be good for a Twist Out!

It turned out beautiful!! If my hair turned ½ this beautiful I would be on cloud 9. I like to think a little frizz add character 💕

i think this curl line is mainly wade for wavy-curly hair (such as mine) but they should specify. my cousin has hair even coiler than yours and her hair drinks up moisture. even tho this works wonders for y hair, i feel bad that it doesn’t work for all curl types like it claims.

The curl talk line is my go to line for wash & go’s. I use the 3-in-1 conditioner & the gel but in between the two I also use the defining cream and I always get great defined results ☺️!

I’ve tried this line. I like to use the gel and the mousse together.

Cream from this line works better... Also the foam and 3 in 1 leave are great too... The gel works great combined with the hibiscus smoothie from Shea Moisture!!!!

Omg girl I was really rooting for it to work for you! I think the not your mother's products are for 2 and 3a hair type. I ordered the curl defining gel , the activating moose and the frizz sculpting gel. I added some organic tea tree oil to give it sum shine in case I didn't get any shine from the products. My hair type is a 3a and it worked really well for me actually. I difused it for a faster dry and the results came out amazing! The volume and curls came out stunning!. I'm guessing you have 3c-4a hair soo I was on the internet searching other curl products and I saw a product called ''Twisted sista's'' the name ''sistas'' is a term for us black girls that's one reason I love it and I really love the cover because it has a brown skin girl on the front with 4a hair looks like it. I think the products would work really well for your hair ❤ ❤ And also 'As i am products and Miss jessie's products.

I liked my day 1 results with the leave in, cream & gel. It sadly didn’t last long only 2-3 days and got really frizzy after day 3-4 😩 I want to try the mousse, my hair type loves mousses..but I really love the leave in conditioner as a conditioner & cowash !

I also haven't been able to get into the NYM Curl Talk line. I got the travel size versions of the products in case I didn't like them and I am really happy I did, ha! And I know EXACTLY what you mean by "old". There was a lot of residue and zero shine. I feel like I need to use it up but I amy just throw it away, honestly. I hate the way it makes my hair look and feel.

I have really long, curly hair (that reaches my knees) and I really wanted to try these products out, but now I don’t know...I don’t use gel because it weighs down my hair, so I prefer mousse. The less product for me, the better. I ain’t having nothing weighing my hair down. I might try the mousse or leave-in. Thank you for the review! ❤️

I think it looks good. I use level 5 hold NYM amazing results the hold is strong as hell.

Idk what my curl type is or what I need for curly hair because when I was little my grandma would bully my mom into straightening my hair or when I was a curly headed baby my granny cut my hair off so now that I’m older and I got my curls back after a few hair cuts I have no idea what to do and I only have a poofy mess 😂 but thank you love this video!!! 💘💘

I tried curl talk. I like the curl talk 3 in one as a co-wash and the mousse is good and I hate the gel. It was a HARD no for me girl. The cream was okay but I wouldn’t buy it again

I still think your results look good 😍😍 when I used this line my hair was super dry bc I used the whole line (shampoo,con, cream, gel, mousse) and it has protein. Now when I use it I make sure my shampoo and conditioner are protein free.

My exact sentiments... Love the conditioner, not the gel. I knew you'd be dissapointed with the gel before I even played the video lol it just doesn't have enough hold!

If you have issues with protein or you're low porosity the leave-in and gel might not be for you... They both have Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract & Keratin Amino Acids which can cause the hair to feel dry. Just an FYI.

Maybe try to top it off with the mousse next time or put the curl cream under it. I can only "4c" this working for a twist out on my hair lol

The sculpting cream and gel sucked, but the rice infused conditioner and mousse are bomb. Try the most next time super defined soft curls. Apply when hair is Wet and single through

It definitely sculpted your hair, pulling it back added to you having frizz, as did you pulling on your hair to blow dry it. You added the frizz in your hair, the products worked as they were intended to in your hair, but your manipulation disturbed it. Don’t pull on your hair as it dries, and do your edges while your hair is wet before diffusing, without tying it back, and you’ll get the results this product promises.

I stretch my hair but it shrinks by morning.
