This guy said his mother hated lying so she beat the lying out of him regularly. So he wrongfully assumed that the woman whose dish he liked the most was lying to him about the dish. And this men is how you allow the trauma of your upbringing to mess up and totallt derail your potential future. Look how disappointed he was that he didn't chose the girl he falsely labeled a liar.
