When we talk about mythology, we immediately think of Egypt, Greece or even the northern countries. And yet, many other regions of the world have also had their pantheon of forgotten gods! China is full of incredible myths and legends and today I invite you to take stock of its mythology. How was the universe created? What are the founding myths of China? Which gods are fighting fierce battles? How did the Chinese envisage death? We try to open up the subject a little in this episode!
Thanks to Alexander Westra, doctoral student in Chinese archeology at Henan University, for this collaboration.
