This wasn't the best episode of Bonanza I ever saw, that's for sure.

Sweet episode. Always a moral to the stories.

It's not fitting that Jamie doesn't know how to use a gun well. Especially with Lil Joe around. Ben had his boys carrying guns at Jamie's age.

the good ole days when children were whipped daily to keep them in line. My father used the back of a hairbrush on my butt, my mother used a belt to the backs of my thighs.

Perhaps David Rose borrowed the opening of Rogers and Hammerstein's "You'll Never Walk Alone" for the romantic background music theme.

*SOUND REMEDY* If you use headphones, a secondary speaker or bluetooth device the sound works for some reason. Found that out a while ago and that's how I'm able to enjoy these.

Nata`s mouth is about as big as Jamie`s.. always getting them in trouble. Just like every horror movie go and hide where there is no escape .!!

Oh darn, not getting sound on Bluetooth speaker... my old analog one died (I only had to pull out the Jack halfway on them to get sound)

Thanks for posting. An entertaining episode, but I think the plot fell apart from the moment Neta blurted out, "That's him." That sociopath would've shot them both in the back as they ran. And going back to the Ponderosa, where the killer knew Jamie lived, didn't seem too clever to me. But it was still a suspenseful episode.

Why would Trummel bother to search for those kids after he lost sight of them? They could’ve run to the sheriff or the nearest neighbors house. He should’ve high tailed it out of town immediately. Instead he goes back to Cartwright’s house and just happens to find them there?? Makes no sense.

Use an ear piece on these with no sound. Then you can hear them.

@@Tadaia Then she would've had to admit to her abusive father that the teacher didn't ask her to stay after school, and he'd have whipped her for lying. I had a father like that and know what it's like to live in terror of him.
