Though the curve looked better i like the flat screen. S pen works better, cases actually protects the sides and screen protectors are easier to find and apply.

You shouldnt put screen protector on S24U because you're not taking advantage of the anti-reflective glass (or at least you should get a anti-reflective screen protector)

you're right buddy flat screen is better than curve imo. Because i have the S10 5g which is sometimes i'm holding the phone it accidentally touch because the curve so i upgrade my s10 5g into S24 Ultra is the best phone i've ever have ❤

Nope , im with you Samsung ditching cured display was a big let down for me . I think s22and 23 ultra are better decision to purchase and even note 20 ultra and note 10 &10 plus

S24 Ultra without the curves is ugly to me. The Note 20 Ultra almost 4 years later is still a gorgeous phone to look at and premium feeling in the hand.

Was about to comment this. Except for the top and bottom bezels on the N20 U, it looks way better. They’re just copying Apple, and it looks like shit, just like some of the older iPhones. I wish there was an edge model, but that’s never gonna happen.

@IulianChannel dude I had a note 20 and got an s23+ and it was an astronomical upgrade. I upgraded to the s24+ and it's even better than my s23+ and you're telling me an s24 ultra isn't a big upgrade from the note 20 ultra? It's a thousands times better at gaming, it's faster, has AI features, 7 years of support, brighter screen, new LTPO screen, better battery life, more responsive s pen that can be paired with AI features. Yeah it's a major upgrade stop hating.

to test brightness. You will achieve a higher brightness for both if you turn on adaptive brightness and shine a flashlight at a specific point on the screen.

Hi Matt I just got a brand new Acer Chromebook 315 few days ago but it cant be set up. After connecting to an internet, I'm stuck at the page of "Determining device configuration". It keeps saying "No network available". I tried to browse as a guest and its going perfectly. Which means there is an internet connection. I've done a restart, done a powerwash reset, but its still the same thing. It keeps bringing network not available... Have you heard anyone having similar issues before.? Please kindly help me out

How funny the 20 series was just as bright and great. But after firmware/software updates you notice it, heating up, getting sluggish and dim, sometimes all when not even doing a thing but being on the home screen

Samsung should not ditch Curved screen. Atleast provide us an option by offering edge version like before. Screen to body ratio of S24 Ultra is even lower than iPhone 15 pro max.

I almost went to buying an IPhone after they did away with Note phones. My first was the Note 3 which I still own and it works still. Traded in my NOTE 20 Ultra (4 year old phone) during pre order and got the free 512gb upgrade on S24 Ultra for just $299. Everything about the new phone is outstanding. Between 6.1 and all the additional options in Goodlock there's just no comparison. Trade that in while it's still in acceptable condition and still getting max $$$$.

I hate the curved edges on old Samsung’s finally samsung is making the screens flat! The curve was so unnecessary and awkward for Spen, not even mentioning the costs for repairs Ect. As someone that’s actually using Spen all the time for sketches photo editing ect I’m very happy! The new samsung looks very smart wise decision Samsung! 😁

@@akor7921however it does not look better than curved screens. Those who mostly but s24 wish for the most premium, which curved display definitely look. In fact , the older phone that I had which was only mind you, 250 dollars. The edge 40 neo from Motorola is also curved , and it beats the flat screen display of my ex 500 dollars phone. That's how premium look the curved screen gives towards images. Also , most of the buyers don't use screen protector with Samsung phones, they come with protection anyway . Use a good case that's it , it's really not hard to not drop it. I have had phones since I was 13 and it's been 12 years ...never dropped a single phone once

The note 20 had too much screen, i can hold my S24U without a case, the note was slippery to hold and had a small battery. I still have my note 20u, but theres no software updates anymore.

It looks like it has better display on a camera but its not. S24 uses new technology to block almost every light reflection on the phone so you wouldnt bother by the reflections
