Oh no, Erica. What are you thinking?. Too warm? Too dark? Honestly, your guess is going to be as good as mine. You can kind of take three or four shades and throw them up in the air and try on whichever one lands in front of you. It’s so strange. I get buying two shades if you really can’t decide but I feel like I would’ve needed to buy four!

Thank you so much, Kari! The six was definitely warmer so it evens out the little bit of redness that I have. In an upcoming Charlotte video that I have prepared for the lipsticks that she’s released, I am going to wear the 4W. So the shade is much lighter but that same warmth is there and I think people will like it better.

Guess what? I was so perplexed that I went to the counter in store to see and they matched me with four warm. I know it confused the heck out of me even more too but the four warm looks really good. It’s not really my shade but it kind of evens out my skin tone. This whole shade range for this foundation launch is a complete mystery to me.

I think mixing the shades is such a great idea, Liza but hear this. Today I went into the store so I could get the shade match perfect before I continue comparing all these foundations this month. And they matched me, of all things, with a four warm. The warm leaned more neutral on me than the neutral, which leaned more warm on me. I know. I am confused as well.

Also for me, the website showed a multitude of colour options, so i am waiting for more reviews! there r so many foundations being released, its getting really complicated! But your skin does look fabulous in this foundation and i saw how little you used and it gave you such a beautiful coverage!

I will say, Triya, you are ABSOLUTELY right that you can dot this stuff on and BAM true medium coverage. It would be great in a hurry. Not as glowy as I'd thought/hoped it would be...but I'm still playing with it.

It’s absolutely genius to mix these two shades together. It looks fantastic on youwhen mixed!! 🤩 When applied separately, I am going to join your daughters. I did prefer shade 5. I am hearing the shade matching online is crazy on this one. So I have to go through that because I am curious!!!! 😃 I will report back when I find out. About the lid, yep… who would want to do that when you’re going to recycle the package?? Is the engraving free?? Perhaps you can engrave your initials, recycle the tube, keep the lid, make a tiny hole on the lid, hang it on a chain, and wear it as a necklace!!! There you go!!! 😂🤓♥️

Oh that’s fantastic! That would be the ultimate in recyclable. You can recycle the container and then use the engraved lid as a necklace! I had assumed that to engrave it would cost money. But a few people, like yourself, have wondered if it is free and then, I think, it would be super cool actually and fun albeit unnecessary. The shade is insane it’s insane. I went to the counter today because something was just really bothering me about both of these shades, though I agree the five was better. And they matched me with four warm. The four warm was more neutral than the six neutral which went totally orange on me. There is no explanation at all.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I matched myself on the Sephora site and they came up with 3 Cool!!! I would NOT choose shade 3 and I am here to tell you that I have ALWAYS been a true neutral, not cool!!! Judging from the arm swatches at Sephora, I would choose 4N or 5N, NOT what they recommended!!!! Yikes!!! Insane is right!!! And engraving appears to cost $8 on her website?? Did I read that correctly?? Another yikes!!!!! 🤪♥️

I made a couple of terrible mistakes in the remote past: I bought foundations with a cool undertone and guess what happened??? I turned into a grayish pinkish version of Casper!!!! He is kinda cute, at least!!! 😂😂👻

Good point, Claudia. Plus these liquid foundations do not last and last like our eyeshadow palettes which we can push past the sell by date. Harder to do that with liquid foundation. Smart shopping!

Helps soothe crying babies 🤣 this looks gorgeous on you Rebecca. Mine should be here today! I found the online shade finder a bit odd too to be honest. In the end decided to go for 1N based on the swatches which is the lightest. Feel like I shouldn’t be the lightest but 🤷🏻♀️ we will see 😬💕

I bought the shade ‘3 Cool’ in store today! Honestly one of the most gorgeous foundations I’ve ever tried. Works well for me as I have quite dry and dull skin. I’m finally glowing! Super impressed with the finish. 😍 Thanks for the review, Rebecca! ☺️

And then there's the mood we're in, the REST of the makeup look, etc. It's not really what it used to be where we all had ONE foundation and just kind of put it on and THEN decided on the rest of the look. Now it's like....it's like wearing a GREAT dress without the right bra. It's the TRUE foundation of the look and so very complicated...or I sure make it so!

I have to say right at the beginning BEFORE you explained everything, I thought 'Wow, Rebecca's looking faaaaaaaaaabulous today' she must have done something extra special as I will say, your skin looked flawless. It's not as glowy as I'd hoped/ assumed so that threw me off and then I'm not entirely sure what it will really do, long term, with fine lines and such. So your opinion helps in forming mine, as usual!!!!

Oh exciting!! Foundation month 😍 finding the best foundation is a never ending task.. I am not having a real love right now. I just bought the glowy Dior Forever cushion in the New Look limited edition... it's interesting...it dries down really quick like a cream to powder. Definitely not dewy but radiant as a very subtle highlighter.

Oh YES, I'm interested in the Dior cushion. Cushion foundations always grab my attention and then I never truly end up using them a ton. I wonder why? I only have 600 foundations. Ok, not 600 but you get the idea. And after THIS month? Whoa.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty hehehe 😆 I actually prefer cushions and Korean foundations. I think Clio & Laneige are my favourites. My Clio Glow Fit cushion is really good. But I also have a number of Western brands. I'm undecided about the Dior yet. What I do like though: the foundation actually matches my neutral peachy undertone 😃!! I choose 00, the Dior homepage swatches are not that helpful 👀 and it literally disappears into my skin 🎉 Cushions to me seem quicker to apply and touch up. But I also use a cushion puff for other foundations: works better than brushes or other sponge tools for me. It doesn't eat much product, you don't have to wet it but it covers a good area of skin. No brush strokes to blend in either.

@@exomake_mehorololo You make SUCH a good point. Our GRANDMOTHERS and GREAT GRANDMOTHERS used sponge applicators! And there's a reason for it. Brushes DO leave strokes, no matter what we say and beauty blenders have to be wet and wrung out, which isn't easy on the go, etc. etc. Oooo, I have heard such lovely things about Clio and haven't tried them yet. I must do that!!!

I’ll tell you this, Sophie. Now that I have the right shade, finally, I am really enjoying the foundation much more. When the shade is slightly off, it just hinders the appreciation a bit more. I am finding that those differences in shade are more important than we realize even when it is a tiny difference.

I have never been a warm anything in my life. Totally confused now and such a Charlotte thing to have the warm lean neutral and the neutral lean warm.

In that video I am wearing the third shade that I picked up of this foundation and it is finally the right shade: four warm. I know. I never would have chosen shade four or a warm shade for myself. I chose in store with a specialist helping me. So the strangest thing. I was right by a nordstrom and I just popped in really quickly. Their Charlotte specialist happened to be in and I asked her what she thought of me trying the 6 cool. She gasped. No way. She matched me with? 4 warm. I was shocked too. It’s too light but it evens me out. I’m going to wear it in a video next week to show everyone. It’s the match. I don’t understand why either.

I found the Foundation shade finder really odd. I couldn't tell enough of a difference in many of the pictures to select which was closest to me and when I put in some of my own foundations to compare I was recommended 1 thru to 8N. I still haven't bought the Lisa Eldridge, so I definitely don't need this one yet. I only just opened my Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturiser and I'm liking it. This looks lovely on you.

Hello Carolyn! Yes, these shade finders are online...ugh... I get that they tell us that it's the height of technology and all, haha, but the RANGE these things spit out is silliness. As you heard me say, it even recommended a NINE at one point to me. You wouldn't recognize me. Haha. I like that you rely on the LM tinted moisturizer. It just is always there and works well and you know your shade!!!

Hello Goldie! thank you for your kind words and for sharing in the humor with me. Well, foundation month isn’t over yet. There’s a lot more coming up but, right now, of the three you mentioned I’m going to go with the Charlotte, for now, only because I really got the shade perfect now because I have visited the counter in store. When the shade isn’t quite right there’s just always something off. So of the three you mentioned I am going with the Charlotte. Shockingly I think I’m slightly allergic to the Lisa. And while the Laura Mercier is super cool I am thinking a teeny bit more coverage is always a good thing. I like all three, but, right now, I’m going with Charlotte of the three you mentioned.

This foundation is at the top of my "want to try" list and I've yet to buy it, lol. The personalizing the cap is so in-brand for Charlotte to me. That old hollywood vibe. You can also have your magic cream and I think some of the compacts engraved. I know Ive seen those old school refillable gold ornate powder compacts of the 40s engraved and I get that vibe from it. And I'd keep the lid and put it on the new one when you repurchased it. Also pretty sure Armani did engravable lipsticks and lip glosses...not sure if they still do. It feels "old school bougie" to me.

Also I have YET to find a shade finder that is actually accurate. They are always way off except for Tartes. I might share how I find my shade bc I used to struggle too and now I nail it almost every time. Interesting bc I think 5 looks smoother on your skin but 6 looks more warm in a good way 🤔 Both look so pretty though 😍

I have had such a hard time matching in the other CT foundations - I have 6C in the Flawless and I never wear it, it seems to oxydize. Not sure if I need this one but now after you say you're a 4W!!!!! I may order it as we are the same skin tone. Returns are free :)

Hello Renee!! I am as surprised as you are that I was matched with a 4W. Like what the heck! But her undertones are so weird. It is no surprise to me that you have had trouble getting the shade right. I was five N in the flawless foundation and I got matched in store. And it looked OK but it’s just never been great. I always have to mix it with something else to kind of get it right. Her complexion products never entirely agree with me. I am still playing with this 4W and I will let you know but it’s better than the other two that I had bought on my own, that’s for sure

This is so pretty!! I’m still on the fence but I think I’m going to try the Chanel foundation. I got several foundation options when I used the finder. My flawless foundation shade (14w) isn’t even an option. I’m actually disappointed in the deeper shades. This foundation has me at either a 10 or 11 warm 😐

Who wants to mess with trying to make a shade darker or more of a match? You don’t have time for that! and you certainly don’t wanna spend money on that!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty I don’t think Chanel offers more shade options but I think their shade tones (limited as they are) are far better than Charlotte’s offering. Charlotte seems to think deeper tones have an orange undertone versus Chanel, which is truly more golden, where needed.

Hmm.. Odd. I took a picture of myself and put in my current foundation and I got the same result. I heard someone mentioning it was a mix between the Light Wonder and Airbrush flawless, I bought it today. There hasn't been a single product from CT that I've disliked so far, fingers crossed it keeps going that way.

I feel like since you got consistent results with the online shade predictor, it’s going to be a success for you. The thing is, I really can’t complain. It’s not like I’m walking around with people pointing at some weird foundation shade on my face. But I know people really want to be precise and it seems so difficult with the online tools. I don't know if it's their website because I - have-had difficulties with shade matching before and I spoke to a customer service lady about it and she mentioned it was currently not working properly (at the time), so I'm not sure. I am quite pale though, so I'm usually 1 neutral in her foundations, which I suppose makes it a bit easier for me personally. I hope people have more success with the shade finder/matcher though, I know I've had to Google shades so many times in the past in order to try and narrow down my closest shade match.

I asked my husband what he thought, he said it looked smooth and 'not in your face'. All in all, I rather like it! I noticed my complexion did look a bit brighter with it too.

I've been waiting for this video. Miraculously, they've brought this foundation to Mecca here in Australia so I've ordered one. I hear you on the weird shade matching! what the!? I mean... what?? I'm a 3 Fair Warm in her other foundations. I'm most definitely warm (well, olive, but warm is the closest I can get to that), I can get away with neutral but definitely NOT cool because cool undertoned foundations make me look sunburnt. Charlotte's website kept recommending 3 Cool to me. Also there was NO 3 warm. I ended up ordering 2 warm and if its too light, I'll order a 4 warm and mix them.

I’m telling you. It is like they took all the numbers and all the names and just threw them up into the air and whatever landed in a chalk circle drawn on the ground got to be cool and whatever landed outside of the chalk circle got to be neutral and then they just kind of picked a few to make them cool. I do believe that was the process.

I've tried to love this. I found my shade. A couple of times I've put it on and thought hmm..and then after I've finished my makeup THEN it looks good. Like it needs to warm up or something. But I've been trying it lately and I don't know what I'm doing but it looks awful. Probably the weather/my primer.

I personally think the 5 is better than the 6. I'm one of those crazy people that really notice when someone hands and arms are lighter than the foundation a person puts on their face. My face, hands and neck are very uniform in color. I like my foundation to be the same.

Hey, I paid for the engraved Airbrush powder compact and Airbrush a few months back. I placed an insanely large order along with those items. I received them with zero engraving. So I emailed and they agreed to resend with engraving- again I received them with no engraving. So although I now have several of these items, no engraving to speak of. I gave up🤷♀️ I really want to try this foundation, but I can't settle on a shade. The finder gives me something different each time. I am ghostly pale right now so I'm stuck between 2N, 3C, and 3N. I am a neutral/cool. Hopefully Sephora gets it in store soon!

You know what, Jessica? I would TOTALLY engrave an Airbrush Powder. You have it forever. It looks chic in your bag, etc. A foundation? No. But the Airbrush Powder, I TOTALLY would. Apparently, however, it appears as if the people at CT would NOT engrave it as they never came through for you. Maybe it's pretend engraving? How silly. I am so sorry that happened to you. The shade choices on this are SO confusing. I was REALLY hoping that she'd do a chart for those of us who have her other foundations. If you're a 5N in the Airbrush foundation, then buy this one, etc. I guess it KIND OF did that when it recommended 6 cool but that seemed almost a mistake (maybe wasn't???) so I ignored it. Why'd I ask then? hahaha! Like how I use the GPS but then disagree with it and go my way instead.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Exactly, I take forever to finish up a powder and you carry it in public with you. Foundation usually never leaves your room, so no one else sees it. I guess it could be helpful for artists who have several clients. I wish she would make refills for the powder like she does with the bronzer! I want to grab that Lunar New Year compact, but I have like 3 back ups now so I really don't need it! The foundation finder is totally a guideline for me too. I never wholeheartedly trust it. They almost always lean too dark for me. It is like GPS, you want to see if they know something we don't. When you see they don't, you just go your own way😄

Oh my goodness, that is so true! It becomes another opinion that we take into account but don’t entirely trust. I really feel like online foundation guides are exactly the same as GPS. I’m going to have to start saying that now. you know when you use one in your own town and you think “go right? right there? no way! are you crazy?” That’s kind of how I feel when they suggested shade nine to me! Loving complexion month!! Yup, I can relate to the shade recommendation confusion. And I know I have a variety of shades because mixed race, but I got a darker recommendation for some of my lighter foundations and vice versa 🙈!!! . I got 7N, 8N, 7W, 8W and 9W LOLOL!!! I think the mix is the best on you. 6N was a bit dull and 5N looked the slightest bit pale but together it's gorgeous, Darling 😜😂. Welcome to my world, I own two bottles of most tinted moisturisers and foundations, even Lisa Eldridge. I'm going to watch your foundation month before choosing another. Glad to know this one has no scent, anyway, because just watched a review of the Chanel and it's a non-starter for me due to the fragrance.

So much to say to your comments, Ann. First of all yes. I am filming my Chanel review today and there is definitely a fragrance. I suppose we should realize that with Chanel because they sell fragrances. But yes, it is tough for me to take as well. Charlotte’s people like to say that she runs peach rather than orange because I guess peach is a nicer term? But yes they admit that the neutrals run peach and sometimes the warms are cooler. For instance to get a true neutral today, I went in the store, and I bought the four warm. The four warm ran more neutral on me than the five neutral! Go figure! But now I have the exact right shade and when I do all my round ups I will be able to better compare apples to apples without any oranges, if you know what I mean!

The mix is perfect and it looks AWESOME on you. When you tried one on each cheek, I thought that the 5N matched your neck better than the 6N. The website recommended 4N to me, but I always wear cool, which only allows me to pick between 3 and 6 (there are no Cool shades in 4 or 5), So for it to work for me, I'd have to get both and mix them and I don't know if I want to invest nearly $90 in a skin tint. Maybe they'll expand the shades.

That is so strange because, you would think that the lighter shades would need the cool tones! It just feels like you would have to have either an in person match or four shades in front of you in order to really decide. And I know we could go through the whole return process but that just seems like such an ordeal with everything else we’re doing every day, all day. I agree with you that the five is better all around but some are telling me it’s a little light and why do her neutrals always go so warm? It’s just kind of a slightly frustrating experience. Hello Linda!!! I have SO many more foundations to come and then, as you can guess, I'll be kind of rounding them all up and ranking them and such. Because I am in SUCH a foundation fog that I can't ENTIRELY give a perfect opinion yet. I feel like I need to keep wearing them and trying, wearing them and trying. I am STILL torn on this one!

All of the Armani complexion products are delightful! I tried that one once in store and do remember really liking it. But I don’t have that much experience except to say you can never go wrong with Armani complexion. It’s so true.

Hello Aline! I am SO looking forward to the Nars release. I just feel like it's going to be THAT one for me....and I feel like I'm WAITING to really form an opinion. On what knowledge am I basing this? Absolutely none. Just falling for the marketing. Haha. As long as we're clear. Hahahah.

My matches w their online were insane. Anywhere from 1n -4n. And It didn’t help when I entered my current foundations either. I like either the mixture on you or 5n. I thought 6 n was a little yellow. That’s why I’m afraid to order this online. I have no idea what shade to get. What other foundations are coming out that you think we should wait to see what we want instead of this ? I’m definitely not needing this but I always love to try the newest foundations.

Yes! Her neutrals should be called warm neutrals. And I can’t help but think that it recommended, online, the six cool to me for a reason. I might be missing my actual shade but I need a third shade in this like I need a hole in the head! For some reason, I am most looking forward to the new Chanel that is on his way to me and the new Nars that will soon be on its way to me. I feel like the Nars might just hit the nail on the head to be perfect. What information am i going on? Absolutely nothing but a hunch and I have been proven wrong in the past!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty are you talking about the Chanel that ulta has ? I can’t believe ulta carries Chanel now that’s so crazy. Sephora must be bugging out that ulta is really getting better brands. Did u order the Chanel shade that you typically wear ? I never had luck w nars foundations the colors were usually hard for me to choose because they look warm for me.

Yes. The Nars color choice is going to be difficult. I went with a Chanel shade that I normally am. And it looks like that is what they’re doing as there’s no descriptions on the Ulta site. I should’ve gone in to see my sales associate as I did not realize it was also in stores. I somehow thought it was an Ulta exclusive. Yes, I think Sephora is shaking in their boots as Ulta makes their move to sell high and makeup! This will be an interesting year.

Thanks for the thorough explanation and review. I don't like any of the CT foundations. Love the flawless filter! This is really helpful since we don't have most of these brands in Israel so I order everything online without first testing.

You are JUST like me!! I love Charlotte but her foundations never suit me so I came into this feeling very skeptical and not knowing my shade didn't help. I have played with it for two days and am still undecided, which really can't be a great sign but I'm going to keep experimenting because, after I review all these new foundations, we're going to have to form some real opinions here!

Hello Breanna! Yes. I have so many foundations now I cannot tell which of the new ones is best. But I’m going to need to figure that out so that I can do a good recap. Definitely doing the new Nars. The new Chanel. There’s another new Tarte which is a powder. And there’s a few more too. it is definitely foundation month. Lord help us! Ha ha.

And, I don’t know if you saw in my pinned comments, I went to the counter today and they matched me with four warm. So these shades are incredibly confusing but also very stretchable. I can’t believe how many of these shades I can get away with.

Hi Rebecca. Happy New Year. I was waiting for your review on this. Hummmm. I though the #5 looked a bit too light on you. I didn’t notice the 6 being very yellow on you. But, yep, with this foundation I really think you have to buy at least 2 shades to mix. Another finicky product, me thinks. The 5 and 6 mixed on you seems to match you perfectly. I’m curious too about the 6 cool. I am about your skin tone. You said it wasn’t that glowy. I like a glowy foundation, like EL Hydra Rescue. I will definitely wait to go try it on in store. Hopefully, I can nab a sample. Oh, the foundation founder matched me with #8, lol. I have a feeling my match would be 6 and 7 mixed. Definitely not #5. Idk. Maybe 6 cool, if it’s not pink.

Oh Janice, you state all the problems perfectly. First of all, when I first saw this advertised it was so glowy that even I almost thought it would be too glowy. But, on my skin, I found it kind of matte. That was with no primer, however. I suppose I have to keep that in mind. Then there are shade choices. And then, within those shades, the whole cool neutral warm debate. Her neutrals lean so warm and then we have someone on here who said the cool is leaning warm on them and going orange. Honestly. I couldn’t even guess. I am really waiting for the new Nars foundation. For some reason that feels like it might be a good one but I have no information that I’m actually basing that on other than their marketing.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty ohhhhh NARS has a new one. Ok. Will see your reviews, when you review it. I need a glowy, moisturizing foundation. Right now I’m using EL Hydra, color is good. I have Bobbie Browns serum foundation, but it seems to run yellowish on me more so now, since I have been using a lightening treatment on my whole chest area. I wanted to even out my coloring. I like the way my skin is looking, however. But, now, I need to try shades in store, I think, to find my match. Oh, the frustration. Lol. Hard to guess on-line, for me anyway.

That Tarte Hydroflex is another great one but the Estee Lauder that you’re using is so good. And the Nars promises to be somewhat similar so we shall see! I think it is released sometime next week.

Hello Rebecca! Your skin looks amazing!!! I found foundations mixed with skincare works for me much better applied with the fingers, just like applying a skin care products. this kind of foundation i will also try without primer , i will try it with the Chanel tinted foundation as a primer - using just my fingers I really interesting to see how it will work. Im thinking that for this foundation we need to think well about the powder we will use to keep the effect. Maybe Dior powder no powder will be a good match... I ordered yesterday the 4 and 5 and you made me think about the 6 cool ... i will let you know ! What about the new lipsticks are you going to try them?

Hi Rebecca, i purchases shades 5 neutral and 6 cool as i was not sure, but its on the way still. My complexion is a little bit lighter than yours, but love that foundation also gives some colour when feeling white like the walls. Between 5 neutral and 6 neutral i did not see a difference, so i think a great plan you mixed them!!! And looks amazing on you!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩CT foundation......the lightest of the 3 she had until now, nice tinted moisturizer when i want tinted moisturzer, nothing special, the other one, the magic i don't know anymore i completely forgot, and the latest one was a real disaster i was a walking cake dear Rebecca with my dry skin, gave it to my best friend she has oily skin, looks great on her!!!! Had to laugh so much you're so crazy when you talk about the description🤣🤣yes Charlotte can sell sand to the desert, sure!!!! Sticky, lets find out, i have great setting powders from Hourglass Ilia and Ko Gen Do, i'll see what happens with that, no scent of course i read the complete ingredients list before buying, but no scent sound like music anyway!!!! Exactly she can sell ice cubes to Eskimos and she can sell sand in the desert! So so true. And, wait for it, I went in the store today to check my shade choice and they matched me with a number four warm. The warm was more neutral than the neutral. Charlotte Tilbury shades and undertones are so confusing. It’s like some sort of mystery puzzle where you win a prize if you guessed correctly! Ha ha.

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty Yes so true!!!😂😂😂😂Yes it's combining until the right shade and in summer again, but it's not a 100 euro plus foundation like, the love of my love of all foundations, the Chantecaille Cushion, bought quite some of them in end/year sales at retailers here, Chantecaille still does not deliver to my country from their UK website, i would love to have all the advantages, so, so crazy for the brand, and i did already support wildlife of course, but happy they do too, that also makes me happy, when i open a refill or another Chantecaille cushion, than i see.....the cute orphin baby elephant who gets more milk because i buy this product😍😍i know i'm an emotinal idiot for a Dutchie which i can be, but elephants....love them so much!!! I think this looks beautiful on your skin! Though, I’m starting to think you just have naturally beautiful skin! 😉 5N definitely, I think, looks more natural on your skin and the 6N looks a bit darker. Just like everyone else, the shade finder is confusing. If I put in my LE shade of 10, I get suggested 3N. Then if I do it with my picture, I keep getting suggested 1N or 1C. Honestly, I don’t think I’m that fair. Lol But I’d love to see a roundup video of all these foundations and maybe a try on picture of each. That would be fun and super helpful! For me, I like coverage but one that blends nicely into my skin and doesn’t highlight pores or emphasize lines. I just turned 40 in December and my laugh lines are slightly more prominent and stick around after laughing than when I was in my 20’s. 😂😂

You know we have earned our laugh lines, Chrissy! I have earned my scowl lines too, mind you ha ha. Yes, you are indeed correct that the six is too dark. And you know who agrees with you? The ladies at the Charlotte Tilbury counter which I visited this morning! They put me in a four. So there you go. Totally wrong. Ha ha. Yes when I do this round of video it is going to be crazy because I’m going to need to try them on and I’m going to need to compare them and I’m glad that I now have the absolute correct Charlotte shade so we can compare apples to apples rather than throwing some oranges in there. Ha ha.

Well Charlotte tilburys app matched me with 8 warm 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ so I guess my skin tone has changed,, so I guess we’ll see I even did more than 1 pic . I even went outside, and took 2 pictures in 2 different areas in my yard , and 1 in the kitchen. Still matched me with 8 warm , I should get it by the 14 , then I’ll do my review on it , lord please let it be the right color 😂😂

Rebecca - I am curious as to your skin type. Are you dry, oily or normal? I find it very helpful to know as I decide if a foundation is right for my skin type. I lean oily and I don’t mind a glow but I cannot stand looking like a messy oil slick. I just tried the Dior Forever Matte and I am loving it so far. Thanks for the lightning speed review as always.

Hello Diane! I am SO SO SO sorry. I try to always say and and print it but I'll make more of a point of it during all these foundation reviews! It is definitely helpful info. I am middle of the road "normal" skin. If left to its own devices, it'll maybe head dry, never oily unless I've really used the wrong moisturizer. So I am totally NORMAL....just the skin on my face. The rest of me is abnormal. Hahahha.

I got a little sample card of this yesterday and tried the 4n shade. I didn't love the foundation. It got shiny on me as the day went on which most HA foundations do. I won't buy.

Great review as usual, Rebecca😊 Hmm now I’m even more confused. I tried the shade match on her website, and foundation match website, and I was matched to 6N,7N, 8N and 12N! The Sephora near by where I live doesn’t even carry Charlotte Tilbury in the store, so I can’t even go and do the shade matches! By the way, I’m thinking of getting a matte foundation with medium coverage. Are there any matte foundations that you’d recommend to dry skin? Thank you so much, and I wish you a great day😊

I don’t even know what to do with Charlotte shade choices except to say that it’s nearly impossible to do on your own online. I don’t know if you noticed my pinned comment here but I went by the store to see what they say and they put me as a four warm. Warm. I am so confused now. But they admitted that her neutrals and warms and cools are not exactly what you expect. Medium coverage matte foundation you think would be an easy one to suggest but it’s not entirely that easy. I would probably go Armani or Dior. I like the new Dior that is matte but some feel it is drying. So I hesitate to recommend it. for me there is always the Surratt dewdrop. More of a natural finish than a matte necessarily and lighter than medium coverage kind of light to medium but it’s always gorgeous and I have never found anyone who doesn’t like it. Plus if you send in a photo to Beautylish they will recommend a shade and they are never wrong. They are amazing with their customer service.

So I don't find the charlotte skin tint so special now I have also tried it on dry skin I thought it would be mega glowy many describe you as you moisturize Glowy but I don't see any glow in my face totally a shame it was a bad buy

And, as you see on me, Veronica, the six neutral went warm! I’m really wondering if I should’ve been the six cool. I don’t know if I am just in a foundation fog right now but I really liked it and yet something prevented me from loving it. I think I had really expected it to be super glowy. And it’s not that I’m disappointed but I was kind of surprised. And lately Charlotte surprises me a lot with things looking differently online than they do in real life. I just haven’t formed a complete opinion yet it’s like I just can’t do anything until the Nars comes.

Ok, coming back to comment again after trying to make this foundation work for several days. Here's my assessment. It's awful. Absolutely garbage. I have combo skin. It makes me a grease factory. I can powder it, doesn't matter. Two hours later, it looks gross. They can gall is a glowy look, but to me it's just a greasy look.

And, the interesting thing is, on me, it’s not glowy at all. It’s kind of matte. Go explain that weirdness. I am not a huge fan of Charlotte complexion products except for the Hollywood flawless filter. But I think the exception makes the rule here. I am not going to disagree with you.

@@hollyalwaysjolly9123 If you put some hair ties or rubber brands around the container, it helps to grip it when opening but that looks awful and, agreed, doesn't help the lack of hygiene in the tip! Yuck.
