This just begs the question: if we’re buying these used, is it worth it to get a mid-trim Macan vs a top-trim Audi SQ5 with similar engines?

Those are both exact equivalents in many ways. I would prefer the Porsche personally. Porsche worked hard to tune OUT the Audi DNA in the platform.
