Genuinely impressed with what they were able to pull off given the price point. But lose the hidden screws pls, repairing this would probably mean it will never look the same again.

Back plastic instead of glass is a massive improvement, and would honestly make me want to buy this over the more "premium" version.

plastic is not so great. I think I would be able to make something better. It would be very cheap, heat ressistant, hard and not brittle. I think I would call this thing METAL. That would be awesome 😯

Obviously not relevant to this phone, but metal is inferior for wireless charging. Glass is annoying because it breaks easily.

Bought it to replace my 4 year old Xiaomi Mi 9T. Writing this comment on it. I'm absolutely loving it so far. The glyphs are fun to play around with, UI is amazing and it works like a charm. For that price, it's a no-brainer imho

@@arkvsi8142 Yes, that's a user interface. Also, it's Android, you have the choice of not swimming in Google apps. By default, you're gonna have Google apps. Do you have an idea of how Android works? Control Center is an iOS/iPad OS thing.

The pattern they light up with are your notification lights, letting you see activity while your phone is face down on a surface. It's kinda the standout feature of the Nothing series. If you don't want Glyphs, just buy a different phone?

Plastic looks cheap, feels cheap and looks like shit after three weeks because of how it scratches. If you’re careful with your phone, breaking a glass back really shouldn’t be that big of a problem. if you break the back of your phone you’re probably careless and don’t know how to treat expensive electronics

Plastic back cover is clever solution. 1) it's cheaper than glass one 2) You can fix it if you know how to fix instead of glass cover which is breaks totally 3) You can replace it by your own without any problems 4) it's not breaking on fall due flexibility and better wave spreading. So yeah, it's not that bad. I remember time's when i had cheap as hell smartphone with horrible display that were making your eyes burn, but it was unbreakable, those smartphone was immortal to any physical damage, but my smartphone with gorilla glass had tiny-tiny micro crack on corner when i was driving E-Scooter at icy road an i forgot to drop pressure at rear tire for better grips, so yeah, a was sliding on my butt an i saw how my smartphone slide with me about few meters 😂 And damn, i got tiny tiny crack on down corner on screen, my old phone was able literally break the ice and keep working and without any cracks 😂😂

The plastic back is fine until 3 years later, when your car keys and any surface you set it on have absolutely destroyed the finish. Source: I was a valuation specialist in electronics recycling. I have looked closely at tens of thousands of phones.
