The no access to field 64 is only in that corner as you are next to neighbouring field. If you had driven in a few metres you would have been fine. It’s all a learning curve. Great series.

Poor Davy! He just wanted to finish the job quickly so you would have been proud of him but it turned out that the quickest way isn't always the best. In this case it has even been the worst. Thank god that no one has been injured. 😅 Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻

I often get caught out with the contract mess. If I can remember not to press complete on any of them until I've finished all of them, it most often sorts itself out. Still think the system is a bit of a mess though. Thanks for the vid mate.

Yeah, not too many contracts at the same time! Keep a very good eye on the sell points and if all the same, finish all at the same time. Beware!!! A contract has 2 parts that needs to finish: the mowing is messured (the first 20% or so) and then the bales delivered. If the bales are delivered from another field, you still need to fully finish the mowing to be able to finish the contract. So it's not enough to only deliver bales. It happened to me once that i had the contract on 99% in the end, because I did not mow enough of the corners (rounded them off to much).

Agreed I was never on board with taking on the home farm thing wrong timing just as the contractor business was starting to really kick on. Get out of home farm and don’t confess about the Range Rover and just let bygones be bygones

You have been very patient and understanding with Davey. He probably needs that. Charles could take lessons from you on the correct way to deal with people. Great episode. I enjoy the life lessons you bring forth in addition to farming.

Great episode FSG poor old Davie Charles is a typical stuck up hooray Henry just tell him you haven’t got enough, time to manage his farm because your contracting job is getting, too busy plus you need paying for the work you have done for him so far and keep up with the great content as always 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used to in that industry and is totally realistic if a quarry batching plant is close by or a big pour on in the area for the jaggers

You could always do more baling contracts (couple at a time not 5😊) and the excess could produce bales to cover the lost bales from the mess up would take a bit of time but there is heaps available and it would save using your own field

A lesson to not do the same contract subtypes (hay/silage) at the same time, nor harvesting the same crops unless you take them all to the sell point at the same time

Think it maybe time to ditch these experiments and get back to basics. Davey poor lad means well and maybe after a good yarn to him offer another chance but with less responsibilities until he can again prove his worth. Charles I feel will soon become more of a liability to you and your business and maybe its time to consider cutting ties? Another great episode and have been enjoying following this series!

Whitout a dough maybe go back to doing contracts only and give up farm manager for Charlie boy, perhaps rent your own small farm maybe it wasnt Davies fault in the tractor , be something if it was Charles fault 😂

I never take any contracts delivering to the same place just because the system is messy and I play on console so there’s no dev tools or xml editing to get out of a jam. I like that your honest about how the game messed up the contracts but technically realism would involve invoices and paperwork (or emails) and you would have been whole at the end of day.

I still hold fast you need a semi with a pto on the front (for running augers and whatnot) to help with all the hauling and travel you need to do. Get a semi, you'll regret it less than trouble caused by poor Davy.

Tedding as you mow is not very realistic anyway, so glad you ditched the idea. 🙂 As for the “no access to this land” message I suspect it would have worked if you had pulled forwards a bit? I sometimes find some grass/hay gets left in gateways because you get that message when trying to bale the last bit. Not an issue for the contracts as it is a few litres only, but looks messy!

Hey just as a suggestion I can recommend some equipment to use on the map it's from a brand people tend to forget about... Marshall I use them on my gameplay of court farms and they fit very well I know on the mod hub there's a grain/silage trailer and a bale trailer and both a side load manure spreader and a small slurry tanker but anyway love this series!!

Telling Charles is a bad move Fsg. Keep it under Ur hat about his car and seriously rethink ur agreement with him. More bother than he is worth. Dont be to hard on Davey, he seems like he just wants to please u, but do distance him from the machines.

Poor Davey just needs keeping an eye on him, he's very good worker but you can't leave him on his own. Just working on the same field as you. And dump that old fart Charles. I never really liked him. And the contracts system is a bit broken in this game, one has to be careful... Awesome work as always FSG!

Hey FSG, it's Wes here. Just following up on my application from earlier to be part of your crew. I'd love to be added in as a character for the show - which I am loving! Original application was submitted on Episode 20. Character backstory -> From Central Alberta, Canada + I have an education in Agronomy + familiar with the larger equipment out here (think John Deere 8 and 9 series).

When i do several contracts at once, i first mow tedder pickup wrap, and then i deliver them and when all is completed i receive the earnings, never had any issues.

You know you do not use the bale grab the 3pt much and the FastTrack is fast and capable of roading and loading bales by its lonesome. Keep Valtra working elsewhere.
