😲👌🏾🔥💯 Great job Capsule, these boards really do look amazing, and the sound it makes is great!....... (I'm weird, the sound of the pop is a big thing for me 😏) I would definitely buy this board! If you could get the weight down I would literally skate this board for life.

@Capsule Skateboards, It sounds like you are pulling a page out of what Loaded does with longboards with there 3 types of board flexes like their Dervish Sama. I think part of what's missing in the industry is finding ways to provide customers the best possible set-up by looking for ways to find the right wheelbase,concave, and steepness of kicks on the board in relation to the height of the person. Obviously there are other factors such as truck height and wheel size that will change the physics of a board set up but perhaps you can do some R&D on different riders and different set-ups and what seems to work best in helping them progress faster. So many things have been done in the past from skate companies such a LibTechs ,Lithe,4M Tip Technology,Powell Flight Decks,Santa Cruz VX, and many others so I'm curious what will set you guys apart?

@@ramrunsfast Simply put Lithe doesn't deliver, Nex had bad quality, Capsule delivers and can be reached. Powerwell Flight is best deck amongst wooden, Capsule is altogether a different animal. Santa Cruz VX is less durable than Flight in long run as layers start to peel off much earlier due to the much more flexing. Its not good to compare wood-based with something like Capsule, its literally apples vs flowers. Also I support they way Capsule is doing things for the company of their size - they concentrate only on deck and outsource any customization outside of one standard complete model onto the customer's shoulders. If you dislike downsides of wood composite tech, I would go Capsule, otherwise go with Flight deck.... only my opinion.

Coupla thoughts... 1. Seems like this would really shine going off big gaps. Where's Lizard King when you really need him? 2. Word on the street is that Flight decks won't break, but they do get razor tail and lose their pop. Same here??? 3. LOVE that it's recycled. Hope the recycling process is clean! 4. If these take over, will it be the end of little DIY board companies? I love a board that was screenprinted in a random garage...

2:55 maybe they're trying to tell you something else. The round shape of the board is actually not solely to protect your shins. It provides strength through curvature. Just like they do with cars. They make all these curves so they don't need as much material, so they can make it lighter, yet strong enough. A round shape has actually a bigger chance of hitting you with a small surface area (is why shinners hurt as much) and so if you don't need to, what seems to be in this case. I would merely take of the corners but for the rest kinda leave it flat.
@thijs199
@thijs199 3 жыл бұрын
So with that said, ''not at all to protect your shins'' I type fast, I'm like a rapper spitting, you know, just not cool haha. Maybe its compensating for some technical aspect of the board but more than likely is just a result of the manufacturing process that was deemed too troublesome to fix or just not necessary in the eyes of the creator. Perhaps the cost would've been above that $99.99 mark and they really just didn't want that compromise. I can't imagine it being a complicated reason, anyhow.

So small update, I got mine a month ago and has been skating it nearly daily. I am not a pro, but easily heavy on the weight side.
