RIP Chris Cornell. An absolute generational talent… what a voice. IMO this is one of the greatest covers of any song ever. Whew!!!

Chris was incredibly gifted and worked hard at his craft. One of the many reasons he is loved by millions is because he is so relatable in the fact that he knew how to share his human experiences with us. Chris once said his music was his autobiography. In one of the darkest times of my life his music, the lyrics, healed me on multiple levels. I can’t explain it but I’m not the only one. Thank you. Chris will be talked about many years from now the same way we still talk about Hendrix. He made it look so easy. Nice guitar collection. I’m sorry about your pup. It’s always heartbreaking.

Chris is my favorite male vocalist of all time and his voice always seems to evoke emotion. I believe music that brings out the emotion is a great thing and Chris could always do that. I seen Chris twice with his solo career which is pretty much what you see in this video. It was Chris and the cello player in this video at his show and it was the best concert that I have ever been too. He re-arranged all his old Soundgarden and Audioslave songs and it was great. He took alot of time and thought with the re-arrangements. I agree its sad to see that he was gone. He did struggle with addition and really depression his entire life which goes to show it does not matter what your position is in life, how much money you have. Depression knows no boundary's. Love the reaction. If you like arrangements you should check out his solo CD called songbook.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I didn't know about him doing this particular song. I really appreciate hearing you share your knowledge regarding vocal effects. I was pretty sure I heard reverb and a tad of delay but I knew I was missing something. Chorus! Not familiar with that. Thank you!!

RIP Sinead, Chris and Prince, apparently Prince wrote this he said about his housekeeper who went on extended leave and was a bit of fun as he missed her as she organised his diary and looked after his home ...but it was such a good song he gave it to Sinead to give it more gravitas , sadly they fell out later on as they were 2 huge personalities and not scared to speak their minds , so eventually clashed...

I agree the cello is beautiful, makes the song even sadder. I remember a couple of Sound Garden songs when my kids were young. Talented folks here. Very pretty. Thanks. So sorry about your dog. Glad you are able to find joy in your music.

A physician, ZDogg did a mock, hilarious cover of this called nothing compares to poo. I'm not saying react to it. It's just great for a laugh from the nursing perspective 😂. The grief from loosing your family member will come back relentlessly for a while. Laughter in between helps. Praying for you Ben

Chris is amazing. This was beautiful, but if you really want to open up, check out Prince doing it live with Rosie Gaynes. He wrote it. I think you’ll love it. Best guitarist of my lifetime.🤷‍♀️💜😍

13:24 "So heartbreaking"...I can't put it into words but somehow this resonates with Gen X and losing so many of these artists to their own hands...Seattle in the 90s was magical, gone in an instant though.

Thanks for this, a good version. Prince was a GOAT and wrote amazing songs. BUT, nothing compares to the version sung by Sinead O'conner, with its iconic video. to this day I well up in sympathy with her fantastic performance of this track.
