If we think we have control on ourselves then guru tells us to do hard work but if change our mindset that everything is acc. To guru's hukam then we can understand this better ...actually the main point is everything is a hukam of god but if we think we have power on ourselves then guru says aape beej aape hi khaho ..means as u sow u will reap ...so everything is acc to guru's hukam Jiv jiv hukm tive tiv kaar Nanak saache ki saachi kaar ....waheguru

This is a truth known since the earliest human, many religions have said it and faded away. That is the human condition, we forget our essence. So much so the very religions that said it mutate over time into seeing themselves as different from others. Seers and prophets come and go, religions come and go, belief systems come and go. The persistence of the illusion, Maya, is necessary for life to go on. Though each of us needs to understand we are one, it's also practically never going to happen, that's part of the design.

TY. you are a great teacher. Sometimes I go in circles of same mistakes. But once you break the cycle, you come out closer to what was i guess programmed. Kind of like this cycle of life, we go through so many until we hopefully become with the one, Wehguru. A bit off the message but ty for these videos, as I have been trying to get a better understanding of Sikhism (especially Guru Nanak's teachings).

I need help. Wenever my daddy in hospital I will always be there by his side and takes care of his health.. but things happen unexpectedly I fall sick and same time my daddy also sick...Ten I hospitalised for Surgery it was Tumor and suffering for Cancer.. and at same time my daddy hospitalised and my daddy couldn't make it.. Tis Tragedy happen to me. and till now I regret for not saving my daddys life U couldn't do anything to save my daddy.. but I am living with tis guilt.. Is tis also Hukum..

What about memories? When my daughter passed over, memories came flooding into me....sad ones, angry ones, and over time...happy memories, only to repeat the cycle ...over and over. I can hear her voice, her laughter, the feeling of her hand holding mine when she'd help me across the street. Memories have always existed, but we only can experience them in the present, always in the now...intangible, but as real as a book I hold in my hand. Actually, what I see is that the past, future, and the present don't really exist at all. If you try to hold even a second in the present, it no longer exists in what we call the now. I'm probably not making much sense, but I still want to know why the memories we are given are not ours? What about memories from past lives. They can be created, but can they ever be destroyed? Thank you for your time....

Sandra, You could read the Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji (SGGS) in english one link is gursevak.com. People say that its not sufficient in English but i disagree you will learn so much that you cant return back to your old life of suffering. The first 100 angs will remind you that you will die, dont be put off by this, it will increase your value of everything in your life and make it count. we're all at different levels and so the Guru can talk on your level no matter what stage you go to or what hidden place you believe you are in. If you dont feel up to that or its too deep, you can watch the Japji sahib series on this channel to help fill your spaces. Hope that helps, sorry for not giving you your direct answer.

Sandra, you make a keen observation, all there is is the now. It is timeless. In the timeless now we experience the Reality. All that we perceive as the past and what we anticipate as the future is in our Awareness in the timeless now. Latch on to that Awareness. That in which everything is perceived. The good and the bad, the angry and the calm, the world of physical things and the turmoil of our emotions, all that is created and born and dies, all of it is in this Awareness. You have connected to it in the Now. Latch on to it. And realise, that is the real you. That is the One in all and everything. There is no coming and going, since there is just that Awareness. There is no Sandra, but the Awareness. There is no loss since all is in the Awareness, and nothing ever was. In that Understanding, the question you ask will not exist. That real you will not ask that question. I speak from the heart, so sorry if this upsets you in any way. Hopefully you will find peace.

I’m going through some confusion in my journey. I have read countless of self help books and have also been following your channel. I want to ask where do affirmations stand in Sikhi? We are to accept hukam and know we are nothing and everything is You. But when we are broken inside and can’t stand on our own, we turn to our Light, and affirmations apparently bring us closer to that Energy. I can see how using “I am happy” can induce duality yet it also helps to overcome anxiety and depression after habitually practicing it. I would appreciate if you could shed some light on this topic as well as visualization/law of attraction in Sikhi. Thank you 🙏🏼

But i that is also hukum that fish is going against the flow ...at least that fish is trying something ....muguls tried to convert everyone in same religion ..but our gurus was like that fish which was not moved with the flow but fought with the in justice and tried for the freedom and equality of religion......at the end over motive should be clear ( the reason ) what we want to achive with his grace ...for that if required to go in flow aur against ...have to try ....but without thinking every one should day the way we are doing ......koi kahe bhootnaaa koi kahe betaaoa ....every guru nanak Dev ji tried to break that flow of society ...but this also the hukum of almighty god ......

i think muguls were the salmon n they were going in opposite to the flow.. sikhs were already in hukum n they were jst trying to obey that hukum of waheguru ji tht "PURJA PURJA KATT MARE, PAR KABHU NA CHAADO KHET"... that is y (salmons)mugals had to leave this thought n they changed their thought to make sikhs into muguls n went with flow.. Bro just try to see the divine in your wife, children and everyone else including the whole nature. When you'll start feeling up this oneness then you won't have to worry about anything.
