The nothing phone 2a is definitely pretty good for stills at that price bracket, and stabilization on video is not bad, I just can't get over the extra red in the sky and on the path when shooting video outside. It's possible it would do better with color in more optimal lighting but I do hope more camera updates keep coming. Awesome detailed video, and exactly what I've been looking for!

Redmi has no stabilisation on the front. Thats super weird. Even the 250€ Xperia 10 V I bought (as the retail price is almost double and insane) has better selfie cam then. I am surprised. The iPhone is a completely different beast here. I think the SE 3 would be more comparable though older. I wonder if the Poco X6 would be a better device to use for comparison. Or something from Vivo or Oppo in that same price region. Redmi in general does worse even if it has 4k than the Xperia 10 V that I am testing here. The Phone 2a has a magenta hue for some reason on the back facing videos. I think a camera update should fix it. 2x video the nothing struggles. The other two are way better.

@@nitikesh.The update bettered some saturation and skin tones issues. It is a very good buy - as you can tell from the video. Only struggles in nighttime videos

Thx for that (and the discovery of your channel)! Well, for a resilient comparison the resolutions should not differ. Doesn’t make sense to compare two phones at 1080p to a third phone on 4k.

Damn this is a very detailed video. Wanted to know whether you experience a lag after clicking the photos on the nothing phone 2a. Also I have heard that quickly after clicking a photo, when you try to open it in 2a, it takes time. Is it true? I am really impressed by the 2a photos according to the price. Sometimes the colours are not accurate but its not much of a problem. Can you please do a day in the life video with the 2a? Thanks for this video!

As for 2a vs the chinese phones you mentioned , 2a has usable 2 50mps , whereas the other phones has a good primary but mediocre secondary camera , and they are not stock android
