Hey everyone, if you're still watching this video it's much easier now... Just type: "/column" and see all the options for preset columns that we have available to us now. :)

Very nice video Productive Dude. It's one of the best I've seen explaining columns. I like the way you take your time explaining and not rushing through it. I'm looking forward to more videos.

whats the sense of a synced block in 5.00 ff - ? This is interesting but i did not get it at once - !?

With multiple columns followed by a full-width section, how can I have the content of the columns flow from one to the next to keep its height as short as possible? In particular, I would like a long TOC to flow the width of the page across two columns rather than being a too-long single column.
@ProductiveDude Жыл бұрын
Hey, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately, Notion doesn't allow table of contents to flow into a second column. I recommend adding a toggle list to hide your table of contents if it's super long.

Great stuff, Carter - thank you! I'm interested in your video on Synced Blocks. It didn't appear in the cards in the upper right corner. Where might I find it? I'll also check your channel for it specifically. Thanks again!

Are you pressing some key to move c2 and c3 to a new column? It's not working moving just draging the mouse for me. Thanks!
@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
It’s very finicky, but, you do need to use the mouse. That is the only way.

Quick Question: Is it possible to create a callout without having an emoji? I can't seem to delete it. Thanks, Carter.
@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
Instead of an emoji, click upload image, then you can upload a blank transparent image. This is a workaround but it should work fine.

I'm having trouble moving my widgets. Each time I try and move it it won't work. I have tried everything. Tips?
@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
You should be able to hover over any of the modules, you’ll see 6 little dots to the left of the module, click, hold and drag where you want it. Also if you’re having trouble with columns remember to start with a fresh page. I hope that makes sense. It’s also much easier to do on a computer than a phone or tablet.

Okay. So how to do this on a iPad when those 6 dots don’t even show up

Notion has a new feature, now you can just type in: "/column" and you'll see the different options for generating columns quickly.

@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately Notion is not meant for mobile. You can use your databases on mobile but I don't recommend building complex databases. Columns also get pushed into one column instead of multiple on mobile.

Yeah, Notion on mobile is a bad joke. :(

May I know how am I able to create multiple row within a row in a table? For example, my 1st column is titled "Activity" and the data at the 1st row is "Camping". My second column is "When" and it is date formatted. Say I have completed 3 camping on 1st Apr, 1st May and 2st Jun and I want to create 3 rows inside the column "When" for this row called "Camping". How am I able to do that?
