The Notre Dame Magnificat Choir (formerly Women's Liturgical Choir), the Liturgical Choir, the Folk Choir, and the Basilica Schola sing Faure's "Cantique de Jean Racine," under the direction of Dr. JJ Wright. Recorded live in performance on March 3, 2018 in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame.

This rendition keeps the 74 tempo marking of the composer better than most others who are either too fast or too slow! A truly astounding piece!

Thank you for this beautiful interpretation. I have lost my grandchild and are waiting for my mother dying after a short battle with pancreas cancer. So 2021 haven’t been kind. But listening to beautiful music and crying helps me cope. So thank you!

Le site est la chapelle de l'universite de Notre-Dame a South Bend, Indiana. Il y a 50 ans, j'avais 20 ans et j'habitais a 1.5km de cette chapelle qui fut l'eglise paroissale de mes parents.

Très Belle interprétation à comparer à kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hOCFgMmH1dvLoWg.html . Elle a pour moi un aspect plus intimiste , aussi sans doute du au lieu : La Basilique mais laquelle ?
