I’m so glad I’m not the only one who honed in on this. His tone is SO beautiful when he sings in his low register, and I agree that we don’t get to hear it often enough. It’s such a shame too because I honestly prefer it to his upper range. Maybe we’ll get a lot more of this on his mixtape 🤞🏼🤞🏼

They were all incredible. Tae's high register, Kooks low register, Joon's perfect fluent all English rap, Yoongi's amazing rap and thought provoking verse, Hobi's too, so sad but beautiful, Jimin's angelic voice and Jin's gorgeous steady voice throughout. This was tear jerking, reality singing at us in the beautiful, passionate voices of our very effected and human Kings. Even the rapline were all singing at the end. I loved this so much. 💜

Sm ppl don't know that or the fact that Sting gets 100% of the royalties from "I'll be missing you."

While I know Sting wrote Every Breath You Take the song is credited under the Police not just Sting. If you haven't heard Puff Daddy and Faith Evans version of I'll Be Missing You I would suggest listening to it as it was a tribute to legendary rapper the Notorious B.I.G.

I also am only familiar with the Police original. Rap and hip hop were never on my radar before BTS. Also, I haven’t heard anyone mention that ‘Take My Breath Away’ riff in the intro.

@@crystalsnow1138 Sting was the lead singer of The Police and he wrote the song/melody line and the song came out in 1983 before he went solo. P Diddy sampled the Police song, as well as an old hymn “I’ll Fly Away” for the melody line. The instrumentals BTS are using are more in line with The Police version, but the lyrical content, aside from Suga’s and J-Hope’s original verses, are taken from the P Diddy rework/version. So they paid tribute to both of the originators and also put their own twist on it. Tastefully and masterfully done.

Jimin is always regarded as the singer having one of the most unique voice because Jimin has that very unique vocal color & tone which is not the common type or quality not only to kpop but even in the whole music industry! His voice is very rare, not just a random kpop voice! Many kpop vocalist actually does have a similar timbre, styles & vocal qualities which is in contrary with Jimin because his voice is very distinctive. That what sets him apart from the other vocalist! Yes, Jimin may sounded like a female vocals in times which is too impressive. Jimin can do a certain style whatever is needed in the song. I mean even the members have mentioned that they do not even need to get a female singer to take some part of the song because there is our Jiminie who can pull off a high note that only a female vocalist can easily do! But Jimin's vocal range and quality doesn't limit to a female type of voice haha! How can you even forget that Jimin can also pull off a rap song, can sing using his deep raspy voice, his growl that he's the only one who can do just like in 'We are bulletproof part 2', danger, and so many BTS songs. I suggest for you to watch his compilation of Highnotes & raspy vocals so you'll be aware that Jimin is more than what you think when people are talking about his unique vocals lol!
